"Room was good size, but cleanliness was not good, the bathroom tub had stains, the extra bed had a wierd smell. The sofa bed mattress was not good firm quality, bad for back. The front desk did not have anyone most of the times The front desk staff was not very courtious answering simple questions as if they were doing some favor."

"The staff was nice and available as advertised but the entire place does not have nearly enough good qualities to make up for the fact that the rooms are disgusting. It seemed fine enough on the surface until we checked the floors and mattress. The floors weren't even swept and the mattress itself looked like it was borrowed from a dumpster behind a brothel- stained and smelly. There were also clusters of black dots in all corners of the mattress just under the sheets which looked like bed bugs or signs of bed bugs to the point where we just checked out and did not sleep there. Granted, after leaving we didn't have any issues with any bed bugs, so I don't think that was the case but the fact that it even looked like that was enough to give us paranoia about it for days."

"The rental was great! The place was exactly as it is listed. Overall, the cleanliness was great, other than ONE coffee cup that needed to be cleaned prior to using it.Parking was good. You get one guaranteed spot, but if you need more, there are some other parking spots available; you just need to get them while they're open (if you need more than one space).Communication with the host was very easy, and he offered solutions to the issue we had with the TV not working correctly. The issue was not solved, but we also were not there much to watch the TV, but it would've been nice to have in a couple of situations.The location is right next to Midway Airport, so there is plane noise, but it was not too much for us to be able to sleep.Mackson's place was great for the price and exceeded expectations! If I'm back in town again, I would certainly consider this place again!"

"Listen to past reviews and do not book. Called to get early check in. After about 20 min on hold, I was told OK, but had to call back to cancel because of 40min of traffic. I told them so would be very late and asked if I needed to call to confirm I was coming if it got past a certain time. I was told no, any time would be fine. I went to address- no sign of a Holiday Inn. I called with question on parking garage and entering and was told they were sorry, but they had overbooked. Said they called people to inform them- no record of a call. I shared my experience with Holiday Inn because someone needs to check what the heck is going on. Waiting for my refund from Expedia."
