Our host was great, the bed was comfortable & place had air conditioning. It was quiet and only 3 blocks walking distance from the park and shopping in Coburg. Would stay there again.

Overall the experience was good, Coburg is a lovely little town and we fell in love with it's charm. We came to town for the Oregon vs. Nebraska football game, and this little rental was perfect - close enough to Eugene, but away from the noise and traffic from game-day. Easy access to I-5, and only 1 stop away from the Autzen Express bus station made getting to the game really easy. A few things - the host asks guests to remove their shoes at the door. I thought this was a weird request as the floors throughout the unit are not carpeted. There is a rug near the TV area, but it's a thin outdoors type rug - so it didn't make sense to me why they would ask for shoes to be removed upon coming in and out of the unit (maybe because it's frequently rainy?). This was a little bit of a sticking point for me, as my husband is handicapped and it is difficult for him to remove his shoes - I wish this had been disclosed as part of the listing. The unit has A LOT of windows - which is lovely for natural light. But the only window coverings are mini-blinds, which do not block light. The home owner keeps lights on outside ALL night long - and there's no way within the unit to turn them off. This made sleeping difficult, as you're in a room that's pretty well lit up for the entirety of the night, and you can forget about sleeping in. That's the only reason why I rated 4 stars, curtains to block the light out would have fixed the problem easily.
