「The room was clean and fresh with tea and coffee making facilities plus complimentary water which was very welcome as it was a hot day when we arrived. There is no air conditioning in the bedrooms but it was possible to open the window. The breakfast choice wasn't huge but perfectly adequate with bread and cereals and a freshly cooked hot course of our choice. Overall a really comfortable stay with a very friendly and helpful host.」

「It’s a pleasant experience to stay in this B & B. The host Tom is very friendly and helpful. Nicely decorated bedroom with everything I need. There’s a kettle and a few types of tea inside the room, and the breakfast is more than good enough for me. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Knighton. It’s just a small town and so it’s within walking distance to all main attractions.」

「This hotel is absolutely 5 star the owners and staff are so friendly and helpful and cannot do enough for you. The rooms are soo beautiful and comfortable such attention to detail. As a vegetarian I had the vegetarian breakfast it was soo tasty I had it two days in a row I can honestly say I have never had such a good breakfast at a hotel before. Again the same goes for the evening meals. I recommend this hotel 100%. Location is perfect for discovering Ludlow and surrounding villages.」

「Needed a place close to Shropshire to visit rellys - my wife found this online and the photos and reviews were stellar. The longest, twistiest single lane country road with flocks of bantams took 15 minutes to reach the lodge from theain A road. Crazy! Fortunately, no one came the other direction so only the wildlife provided the hazards. The lodge is a converted barn/stables/something old and quirky. It has wifi and very polite staff.
