「Bear's Retreat was the perfect getaway spot to explore the Raystown Lake area and spend quality time with family and friends in absolutely stunning surroundings. The house itself was definitely spacious enough for a large group and was enjoyed by all, from blowing bubbles on the deck with a 5 yr-old after a day swimming with fish at Tatman's Run Beach to a 62 yr-old hustling everyone else at pool in the rec room. 「The cabin was great and the view was even better. Everything was excellent from the helpful directions to get there, to the fire pit and well stocked fire starting supplies, and to the kitchen supplies given we did a lot of cooking during our stay. Dog friendly too and my dog loved sitting on the deck and taking in the sights and smells! Highly recommend staying here.」

「Peaceful place along the river with all the comforts of home. This delightful cottage brought to mind so many great memories of days gone by. It was only the two of us this trip, myself and my husband, but I think this would be a fantastic little getaway for our whole family. 」

「The house was very nice every one who came loved it we loved hanging out in the hot tub and on the deck. It’s perfect place for you and for friends to have a great time awesome privacy from the other houses and we had an amazing time.」

「We had a phenomenal time at Alan’s mountain home. We skied 2 days, we easily walked to the lift and came home for lunch and went back out. It is so nice to not have to get in your car with the gear.
