Évora Hotel with Pool

"Dirty bathroom. Very hot room with inadequate AC. No breakfast even though we booked breakfast with our room. They had no record of it and blamed it on using Expedia. Said we shouldn’t have used them and that is why we didn’t get the breakfast. Beyond disappointed. Waste of time and money. Zero stars! "

"This is a beautiful hotel with outstanding staff and amenities. The grounds are gorgeous and the rooms are spacious with top quality bathrooms. The pool, pool bar, and restaurants are all excellent."

"Clean room, but the website photos do not accurately depict the hotel's age, poor condition, and general unattractiveness. Staff were unhelpful and unfriendly, and the Wi-Fi kept dropping, so we had to use our own data. Shower pressure was good, but the tub didn’t drain, and water leaked onto the bathroom floor."

"The hotel is ultra modern, almost to an extreme. It sits on a very busy corner with lots of traffic and so is noisy. We would not stay again for this reason."

"There should be better instructions for finding the property and finding parking. Otherwise it's a great historic place to stay in a central location."

"Stayed for 1 night with kids…great spacious hotel 5-8 mins walk to the Evora walled city. Several onsite facilities which we couldn’t use because they close by 7-8pm…I wish they stayed open late so we can enjoy after our full day excursion in the city. Excellent spread of breakfast buffet for every age and appetite. They also apparently had buffet dinner which we weren’t aware but looked quite appealing."
