“Location was good. Long walk to French Quarter was doable. Fresh market across the street was excellent. Very large buffet selection. the parking was OK. I parked in front upon arrival and never moved the car. Took Lyfts everywhere. The garden is very nice and there are several sitting areas, one for each room. You have to be a tad careful since there are steps and twists and turns which can be slippery when wet. The room was very nice with a quirky, eclectic vibe. And, there were 4 USB-A ports……

“Such a unique place to stay! It was very clean and within walking distance to everything we wanted to see and do. The bar downstairs was a lot of fun and we were surprised that we couldn’t hear anything. Having our morning coffee out on the balcony was the best! Definitely will stay here again on our way through town.”

“If you want old, quaint, stylish hotel, Rathbone Mansions might be a good option for you. We liked the antique flair and location, but did not like the fact we reserved a superior king room and it looked nothing like the photos on Expedia. Our room was across the street from the main building (hence, "Mansions"), and it was very sub-par, especially for what we paid and we assumed we were getting. At least the bed was comfortable and the shower hot. The pool area is small and crowded with people……

“Swimming pool is nice and parking available. Rooms are cute. Very nice staff.”

“Staff was very accomodating and the communal areas are great. My private room smelled like pets or that it needed to "breathe" for a few days. I bought a plug-in and some air freshener then it was fine.”

“The staff made the stay worth it! Joseph was and the other gentleman that handles valet (didn’t get his name) were very helpful, super friendly. Everyone was so nice. Breakfast was awesome and consistent in terms of taste. The rooms were ok, I loved the fact that we had a stove top, large fridge and a microwave. I will definitely be back. The location is within walking distance to all of the excitement.”
