This smoke-free cabin features a sauna, a hot tub and laundry facilities. Additionally, an arcade/games room and barbecues are on-site. The cabin has 4 bedrooms and offers free WiFi and a sofa bed. A kitchen comes with a fridge and an oven, and guests will also find upscale touches, such as a fireplace and a jetted bath. Housekeeping is available on request.

Beat the heat

Geat "home base" to doball your adventures from. We were able to hit up Breckenridge ' Bueno Vista, Leadville and numerous other areas for our week long adventures of rafting, zip lining, train rides and ATV trail riding.

Great get away!!

Spent the last 5 days at the cabin, it was very clean, well built and the perfect setup for our multi-family. We all enjoyed the hot tub and sauna the kids enjoyed the pool table. We hiked almost everyday at the many trails around Fairplay and spent one afternoon just exploring the property. hosts were very responsive. Beds were very comfortable. We really enjoyed our time at the cabin and looking forward to another visit.

This was a first class vacation rental. Best we have stayed at. We were so impressed. Real pool table, nice hot tub and instructios for everything except the high tech remote in the basement. The master bath tub was so cool and big enough for 2 people. We definately stay again. Thanks

Beautiful home in the mountains. We loved how secluded it was and all the privacy. We took our small oxygen portable concentrator which was definitely needed. The altitude will hit you so supplemental oxygen is a good idea. Summer in this mountain home was amazing for our family. Management was very fast with responses to our questions. We've stayed in 8 different cabins in the Alma areas and this is by far the best one. The cabin is awesome. Very secluded which is hard to find nowadays. I read reviews about the roads but we had no issues. If you come in through mosquito pass that way gets very bad. But if you come in off CR 1 it's no different than any other mountain roads. We seen lots of moose, elk and deer driving around the area each evening. Caught lots of trout in Montgomery reservoir. It was warmer than normal and we missed the Aspens changing but it was a great trip staying at a great place and we will be back.

Winter Wonderland

Our stay was spectacular! Chessets lodge is beautiful, it is a winter wonderland. We enjoyed sledding down the mountain and waking up to spectacular views! The cabin is very warm and perfect for a big family!

Our family had an excellent time relaxing and unwinding in and around this home. The views were incredible. The home fit our family of four adults & two children wonderfully. The kitchen was well-equipped and appliances were high end. Beds and pillows were very omfortable. Lots of wildlife to see! Check-in, check-out and communication with property managers worked well! Chessets lodge is a winter wonderland! We enjoyed our stay in this gorgeous lodge! The best view of the Rockies ever! Accommodations where fantastic. 35-40 minutes to the beautiful town of Breckenridge.

This was a lovely place to stay. Bed was comfy and hot tub was a huge plus. Very secluded and quiet. We even saw a moose while out walking. Would be happy to return.

Amazing Vacation

We decided to take a small bday trip to Colorado for my boyfriend's 30th Birthday and it was absolutely perfect. I would highly recommend staying at Chessetts Lodge. The home and property are absolutely beautiful. The home is also pretty close to some of the larger cities which allowed us to venture out each day and visit a new city/attraction. We definitely plan on coming back to this home!

Amazing stay.

The house was awesome, very clean and upkept, plenty of heat in the winter time. Lots of space for 10 people. Road was a little rough getting up with the snow. Took 4 tries on fresh snow with a 4wd dually pickup. Overall wonderful facility.

Amazing Property

This place was the perfect getaway for a week. We were secluded up a little over 11,000 ft elevation with just the snow, wind, and animals as the only thing you could hear. The house was the perfect size for the 10 of us and offered lots of over the top things that made us really feel at home. We will be back during the summer months soon.

The property was amazing. We had so many places to hang out just at the house. The hot tub was perfect after a day out. It was my birthday and they even left cakes for us. This place is a must, and it was like two vacations in one with the house and it being right up road from Breckinridge.

Amazing Mountain Vacation

The listing for Chessett Lodge is very accurate; it's beautiful! We spent 9 days with our 5 adult children and 2 year old grandson. It allowed us enough space to all sit together and also allowed everyone a place to escape. The views are gorgeous, the house is well equipped. Word of warning, the house is at 11,000 feet; being flatlanders we were unaware of the many forms of elevation sickness.
