“Medi, the chef, and his wife, Daniella, run the Inn and gave us both a warm, friendly welcome. The room was tidy and clean and we both had good night's sleeps even though the room was above the pub..I recommend Medi's Eggs Benedict which was fantastic and he also catered in the evening with great home made food - I had the best fish and chips I've had for many a year..I'd recommend the Sunday roast too which was awesome and over generous...and reasonably priced... Next time we're in the area……

“The place is an ancient inn in a wonderful spot of the countryside. Perfect for trips along Hadrian's wall or nice walks in the fields. No restaurants in the area except the inn's one, where it's possibile to eat until 8.30 pm. Excellent beer until late. The toilet area is really tiny, but the rooms are lovely.”

“This was such a cute little apartment. It is attached to the Milecastle Pub, which has very delicious food. A portion of Hadrian’s Wall is within walking distance. I would definitely recommend.”

“The first room we checked into was next to an internal door which kept being slammed by noisy guests. We were moved to another room by a lovely and helpful member of staff without any hesitation. The second room was an upgrade from the first one and was in a much quieter part of the hotel so we are very appreciative of that. The staff were lovely, friendly and accommodating.the location is perfect next to the river and the outdoor space was great (was a lively still and sunny day). Breakfast……
