Creekside Cabins of Fancy Gap
Escape to the serenity of Creekside Cabins. Whether you're a snowbird commuter looking for a quick overnight or need to unplug for the weekend, the "Bear Den" cabin is perfect. Located between I-77 and Hwy 52 this quaint cabin is the ideal location. Explore the Blue Ridge parkway, Hillsville (famous for the Flea Market), Galax and Mt Airy for unique finds, wineries, fishing, hiking and leisurely activities. Come experience the tranquility and fall in love with the beauty of Fancy Gap, Va.
This quaint cabin (The Bear Den) is situated only feet from the east fork of Little Reed Island creek. Sit on the porch and relax listening to the harmonious melody of the water cascading over the beautiful outcropped rocks, or open the windows and let the tranquil water sounds lull you to sleep. The layout is simple and decorated to establish a sense of bygone charm and relaxation.
Feel free to hike the gravel road, roam the nearby woods, or hop in the creek. We do live on the property and you may see us working around the land. We would like to kindly ask our guests not to enter the buildings or barns on the property .
We are constantly working hard to improve the property to better serve our guests. We are close to beginning our second cabin and are still in the process of driveway and parking improvements, so please pardon our "dust"

The cabin is every bit as described and more!! Nothing is missing and every detail is covered! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially hearing the creek as we went to sleep and woke up this morning. We hope to get back there soon!

We loved the location by the rippling creek, the interior design and decor, the back balcony with seating and everything about the cabin. Wish we would have booked more than one night! Great place and the turkeys and deer were an added bonus.

This little cabin was wonderful!!! It was an overnight stay only on our way to a vacation at the beach but loved this place. Close to a running creek which we enjoyed while sitting on the back deck. Very clean and cozy, our only complaint is the bed was very firm but that’s a preference and would not stop us from booking again. Owners were very quick to respond to any questions we had. We wish we had more time to enjoy our stay but would definitely recommend this cabin.

Very nice place!! Very clean!!! Loved the stay. Only thing was a kid on a four wheeler riding outside side up until dark on the small road in front of the cabin and on the other side of the creek kinda killed the peace and relaxed atmosphere. Other than that it was good.

Little piece of heaven!
The cabin was a perfect spot for us to stay overnight on our trip to South Carolina. It is so pretty, clean and I loved the rustic antiques there as well. It is beside a beautiful, soothing little creek where we had a campfire and relaxed. A little piece of heaven! Thank you for making checking in and out so easy!

Restful retreat

Anniversary Trip
The cabin is absolutely perfect! We enjoyed our stay very much. The locations is great and the creek is beautiful. The hostess is wonderful and she paid attention to every detail. This cabin is very clean and well taken care of.
