“An old "dog friendly" cottage that has been modernized with double glazed windows, heat pump, new appliances (fridge, microwave, stove, tv ....). Very comfortable stay. It is opposite the boat launch and they launch boats from 4:00 am so take some earplugs. Good value for money.”

“Absolutely gorgeous setting and views. Lovely clean and comfortable cottage with extremely well equipped kitchen. Fantastic communication with host. It is close to train tracks, my son loved seeing the trains whizz by but can be loud at night. Less than 10 mins to Cheviot town centre and there were cows in the paddock beside us which was lovely rural experience. However no wifi or Netflix etc, standard tv and dvds provided. Overall we really enjoyed our stay! ”

“The views were amazing! Fantastic for seal and dolphin watching. Beautiful sunrises. Only negative for us was the access which is initially steep over the railway track. We had a bike rack on the back of a ute and had to remove it to get over the first bit. A mention in the listing about this would have been helpful. Otherwise absolutely loved our days there.”
