We got up at 5.30am to get shots without people. If you like this angle you need to head to the roof of the Cascade Hotel. For a few dirhams the sleepy doorman will let you in and lead you up. This alleyway in the ancient medina of Fes, was tucked away and hidden. This rainbowroad caught our eye when we just happened to look down an alley behind a half open door. 套房很大，床很舒服，Hassnae英语很好，会提前发邮件确认。入住后服务很好，提供fes的地图，帮我们询问CTM是否有余票等等。酒店位置也很好，步行3分钟到蓝门，到麦地那也很方便。总而言之，很愉快的住宿体验。

An iconic sight for sure, the tanneries of Fes was absolutely interesting to take in. As well as the smell, which wasn't as bad as I anticipated - and they gave us a bundle of mint to smell if it got too bad. :) Here you can see all the different colors of leather dyed...and dried...and here you will find the biggest selections and best prices for leather products at the surrounding leather shops that have a veranda to see the men at work below. Yes, yes I did acquire a bag while I was there - and it has Berber carpet on it too - double score! :)
