We got up at 5.30am to get shots without people. If you like this angle you need to head to the roof of the Cascade Hotel. For a few dirhams the sleepy doorman will let you in and lead you up. This alleyway in the ancient medina of Fes, was tucked away and hidden. This rainbowroad caught our eye when we just happened to look down an alley behind a half open door. 本來訂了2晚在網上付了全款，但去到酒店說有一晚沒房，我就搞不懂既然接受了全款而为什麼沒房？有點不能接受！然後就把我們安排到另外一间酒店..所以感覺有點不太好，雖然補尝了早餐給我們..酒店其他都非常好，環境，房間，服務都不錯的...

An iconic sight for sure, the tanneries of Fes was absolutely interesting to take in. As well as the smell, which wasn't as bad as I anticipated - and they gave us a bundle of mint to smell if it got too bad. :) Here you can see all the different colors of leather dyed...and dried...and here you will find the biggest selections and best prices for leather products at the surrounding leather shops that have a veranda to see the men at work below. Yes, yes I did acquire a bag while I was there - and it has Berber carpet on it too - double score! :)
