“Arrived early and could check in early for minimal fee. Room lovely, clean and everything needed for the one night stay. Ate at restaurant and food / service great. Easy walk to some shopping. Front desk arranged taxi for transfer to airport but also shuttle right outside the door too. Had a hiccup by leaving back pack in taxi and hotel helped arrange for me to get this back. Overall great experience and customer service. Highly recommend this hotel ”

“This place is a serious find, loved it from start to finish. Beautiful bar, restaurant and rooms, everything was perfect, I was massively impressed. And to the person who checked us in (feel bad I didn’t get their name) and also served us in the restaurant was literally like Mary Poppins, big thank you. We will most certainly return.”

“We checked in after midnight as we need to stay for one night before return home. Check in process was efficient and took only a few minutes. Reception lady was courteous and efficient. Would certainly stay again if needed in future.”

“Lovely manor house Hotel. It's foremost a wedding venue, conference type hotel so nice and peaceful in the week. Room was quiet, very comfy bed. Food in the restaurant was very good quality. I had the pork belly and it was delicious. Will stay here again for sure. Room was cheaper than a Premier Inn too. ”

“Great hotel with pub and restaurant, in a tudor building from the 1700s. The staff were excellent, super friendly and gave me a lot of information about the area, things to do. Only drawback is that due to the age of the building there was a bit of noise from other rooms”
