On gorgeous days, choose between 10 trailheads within a 15-minute drive or visit Lake Mary (11 miles) for some fishing or kayaking. In the winter, it's a quick 17-mile drive to Snowbowl for snowboarding and skiing. You'll also be a short drive from Fort Tuthill (five and a half miles), Walnut Canyon National Monument (13 miles), Sunset Crater (21 miles), Sedona (29 miles), and Wupatki National Monument (33 miles). If you're looking to take a day trip, you'll be only 89 miles from Grand Canyon National Park.
