“Bright and cosy and stylish and comfortable”

“The mattress is a bit too soft.”

“Very comfortable and quiet. Lovely amenities.”

“Beautiful house, very convenient for the train station, and the host was very helpful”

“Good service polite staff.”

“Nice quiet B&B in a large park yet close to Ghent and Latem and many restaurants.”

“DO NOT STAY HERE - COMPLETELY FALSE ADVERTISING! The "Deluxe" Double Room does not have its own bathroom - this fact is not shown in the headline and is buried in the listing. I arrived at 9 pm to a dark house and was shown a room without a bathroom. I asked where it was and was told it was in the hall and was shared with another room. I was shocked but the woman showing me the room told me that the other room was not taken. I figured it was not that bad and acquiesced. However, at one in the……

“Cute apartment, clean and with air conditioning, and good location. Our only issue was with check-in. There is a common lockbox and after 7 hours of train delays, we arrived in the dark of night to find there wasn’t a key for us. Amazingly the hosts replied when we called at almost midnight and they did sort it out and come give us a key. However, we were just getting into bed when another family arrived and opened the door, claiming they had rented this apartment. We noticed they had taken our……

“Such a lovely place to stay. The apartment was in a building connected to the main mansion, so make sure to follow the directions that are sent to you about finding it if yours is there as well. Perfectly decorated, very comfortable room. The main mansion, it was so lonely and authentically historic. The owner and the operator is on call when she is not there. Do not hesitate to call her. She gave me a wonderful tour of the grounds, including the hunting lodge and hothouse.”

“Great location, service and host.”

“Wonderful stay in the suite at the One Two Four. Very helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful accommodation and the spa was a great addition to our trip. We had breakfast in the restaurant on one morning which was fresh and delicious. We would definitely recommend.”
