We've got the lowdown on how to make your journey as stress-free as possible. Follow our tips and you'll be zooming through airport security and exploring Anguiano in next to no time. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane ride can be a great experience if you bring the right stuff. First things first, you'll need basic toiletry items, such as a toothbrush and some deodorant, a spare set of clothes and a good book. Secondly, find room in your hand luggage for your electronic devices, chargers, any daily medications and perhaps a cosy neck pillow as well. Last, but definitely not least, don't forget to bring your passport, travel documents and some cash.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Leave all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hair gel in your checked luggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) will be confiscated by authorities. Sharp or pointed objects, like your trusty pocket knife, and dangerous goods which are flammable or explosive, such as flares, bleaching agents and fireworks, are also not allowed.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your priority is to feel as comfortable as you can. Choose easy-to-remove footwear, dress in loose, natural fibers and remember to take a pullover in case it gets chilly in the cabin.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a risk on long-haul flights. It results from blood clotting due to poor circulation and inactivity, so do some gentle leg and foot exercises in your seat and consider wearing compression tights or socks.
