We've rounded up all the info you need to make your journey as enjoyable as possible. Follow our insider tips and you'll be cruising through the airport and having a blast in Sangi-ri before you know it. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- First of all, pack in your passport, travel docs, credit cards and daily medications. Next, you'll need some entertainment to while away the time. A thrilling novel and a laptop filled with your favourite movies are some terrific options. If you hope to catch a few z's, a quality neck pillow and some noise-cancelling headphones will also come in handy. Finally, leave space for a toothbrush and some cleansing wipes to ensure you step off the plane feeling fresh as a daisy.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Put all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hair gel in your checked luggage. Any liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) won't be allowed on. Sharp objects, like a Swiss Army knife, and products which are flammable or explosive, such as aerosol cans, flares and poisons, are also not allowed.
What to wear on a flight:
- The aisles of an airplane are no place for a fashion parade. Dress in comfortable layers and choose shoes that are flat, roomy and easy to remove.
- The result of sustained periods of inactivity, deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a blood clot condition that can affect passengers during long flights. Lower your risks by staying hydrated, keeping your legs moving and wearing compression socks to help improve your circulation.
