Depending on where you're coming from, your journey to Zuoz could be as easy as pie or it could go on forever. We've rounded up some useful hints that will help you start your next big adventure on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- First things first, pack your passport, travel docs, bank cards and daily medications. Next, you'll want some extra in-flight entertainment to while away the time. A thrilling novel and a phone crammed with your favourite movies are some terrific options. If you intend to take a short snooze, a quality neck pillow and a pair of noise-cancelling headphones will also be useful. Finally, find room for a few toiletry items so you'll touchdown looking and feeling fresh.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Leave all your full-sized bottles of hair gel and hairspray in your checked luggage. Any gels or liquids in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) will be confiscated by authorities. Sharp or pointed objects, like your precious pocket knife, and products which are explosive or flammable, such as flares, chemicals agents and fireworks, are also prohibited.
What to wear on a flight:
- The aisles of an airplane aren't the place for a fashion parade. Layer your clothing and choose shoes that are flat and easy to pull on and off.
- It's likely you've heard about deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clot condition caused by prolonged periods of inactivity. To reduce your risk on board, drink lots of water, consider wearing compression tights or socks and move your lower limbs often.
