Perfectly Peaceful Private Park Paradise

Great home base for group of friends on a weekend bike trip. Location was ideal House was thoughtfully equipped with all amenities. Panoramic lake views were awesome. Tranquility and privacy is exceptional.

Beautiful Lotus!

Very nice house fully equipped, great location and the grounds with majestic trees and Little lake were just the perfect setting for a relaxing stay. Dweight, the host, was very kind and responsive. Definitely recommended!

This was more that we could imagine. Very clean, well equipped throughout. We were looking for a peaceful retreat for the weekend and this house was perfect. The morning fog across the lake to the quiet evenings on the screened porch was delightful.

Floral City - February 2025

We loved the secluded location looking out on a small lake, yet close to riding our bikes on the Withlacoochee State Trail. The interior was clean and adequately furnished. The kitchen was well stocked with anything that someone who likes to cook would need. The owner was quickly responsive to all of our minimal requests. We highly recommend this property!

Peaceful place to re-energize.

Our family had a great time! Loved having access to the kayaks and fishing equipment. Very relaxing sitting in the screened porch with a cup of coffee when the sun was coming up. Great little local shops, museums and restaurants near by. Pudgee's Eatery was great too.

So Relaxing

We loved the property. I have never stayed anywhere that I felt so instantly comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of blankets and pillows. Lots of room to spread out. We spent a lot of time sitting by the lake and watching the sand cranes and waiting for turtles to pop up. Don't change a thing. We want to come back for a longer stay.

Another great stay at Lotus Point

This is the third year we've spent 5 weeks at Lotus Point and it did not disappoint. We love the location, the privacy, and the great house. Easy access to the Withlacoochee Trail is what drew us here and we enjoy biking nearly every day. Dwight is attentive, friendly, and a great host. Highly recommended property!

Peaceful stay in real Florida

Appreciated the quiet, broken only by the Sand Hill Cranes and nightly frog chorus. The property is very natural with clipped areas for easy walking. We enjoyed day trips in the rural countryside along with stops in Inverness, Crystal River, Floral City and Beverly Hills. Good dining at Lollygagers and fine takeout from the Viet Deli. We are longtime Floridians missing this quieter life that is overrun by development nearer Tampa Bay.

Always Amazing

This was our fourth (maybe fifth) time at Lotus Lake and we love it just as much as ever. You immediately feel at peace as you stand at the age of the lake, or sit on the screened porch. We were there in August, so it was expectedly hot, and yet that didn't take away from the enjoyment at all. Can't wait to go back again another day!

Peaceful and amazing

I came for a short solo get away. I found tranquility. The property is beautiful. The cottage and kitchen are stocked with anything you might need. The lake and the dock were delightful. I fully enjoyed the bird activity, the sunrises and the sunsets. The covered porch was a great place to read and write. The withlacoochee trail is within walking distance and I took advantage of it daily. I’ll be back.

Fantastic Weekend !!

This property was just amazing !! Extremely clean and well maintained. Very private. Can't see the neighbors at all and right on the Lake.. Close to the Withlacoochee bike trail and state parks.. All of the kitchen utensils needed and many extras. We will be sure to stay here again. Thank you soo much

Time Away

This was the perfect place for us to enjoy some time away from the rush of everyday life. The view of the lake during the day is beautiful and the stars at night is breath taking. Our teenagers had no problem taking time away from electrinics and getting on the lake to fish or spending time playing board games and coloring on the porch. Our dogs who are seniors spent the whole day laying on the porch. Living their best life. We definately recommend this retreat and it is on our list to return.

Paradise

Paradise at Lotus Point. Everything was wonderful. I had the whole lake to myself to kayak and just chill. House was stocked to make cooking a breeze. TV was easy , too many remotes can ruin tv time. Close to all attractions yet hidden away in a very quiet neighborhood . Must admit you don’t go on holiday on New Years Eve , where I live fireworks are illegal - and there was a party close by , so that is my bad. Other than the cannon fire, it was an excellent time and I would rent again .

Peaceful retreat

Great place to unplug, study the reflections on the lake, and listen to the sounds of nature from the back porch. Bring that recipe you've been wanting to try as the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. The dock needs some work - so we were unable to fish. But the private setting make this a true "Old Florida" peaceful retreat. Thank you for sharing Lotus Point cottage. We plan to return.

Peaceful

Peaceful and fully equipped. Everything was great. No major issues. The only reason the cleanliness is getting a 4 out of 5 is because I went to wash the few dishes we had dirtied and the kitchen sponges were both gross and unusable. Obviously didn’t use them and found a disposable cleaning pad under sink. Also the guest toilet seat looks horrible. Besides these two things this place was Great and we could totally see ourselves coming back in the future for a peaceful weekend getaway. Hope this review helps.
