This is a great place to stay with easy access to a great beach. The breakfast was excellent. Staff was great. The property is a little older and some things are looking a little tired. Great value for a safe, secure, quiet, quality experience. The room was clean and comfortable. I have stayed here before and will again. I love Gold Beach.

Spacious room, comfortable bed and great amenities. The breakfast was excellent. I enjoyed the sauna and hot tub, which were located in the main building. The hotel location was nice, but separated from town by the river and draw bridge.

O elevators to rooms. Flights of stairs to move luggage was not good for us. The hotel is aged and signs of wear and tear in room walls, doors, lights are evident. This is a remote location and needed to stay over so we made the best of it.

We stayed here as an overnight on our trip from Klamath Falls, OR to the central coast for a few days of driving and site seeing. After the long drive down 138 (the Umpqua Highway) to Reedsport and north to Florence it was great to stay in a room with a view of the Siuslaw River and historic bridge across to Florence, with very comfortable beds, very responsive and helpful desk staff, and to wake up and have a great made-to-order breakfast. Florence is where the dunes are and a great starting point to see the rocky coast and interesting stops driving north (the dunes; the darlingtonia; Sea Lion Caves and the rocky coast) on the way to Newport and further.

Check in went smooth and the desk clerk even offered to carry our luggage to our room because there’s no elevator. It was very quiet and room was comfortable. The breakfast included “the best made to order omelette we had that day”.
