Was truly as beautiful and luxurious as it looks. I loved the staff. They were so kind always. Breakfast was great for a baby and adults. Saved us this trip with a 10 month old! So peaceful and close to Florence. Highly recommend.

Beautiful, picturesque location stationed right by River Arno. Delicious restaurant options for dinner. Front staff was friendly and helpful. Deeply appreciated the room upgrade with a stunning lookout of the grounds. Only wished the bumpin' music in the clubhouse (?) was a bit quieter during sleeping hours. Thank you for a memorable stay overall.

The hotel staff was outstanding! We just had one big disappointment. We booked this hotel because it listed a shuttle to the city center. We didn’t learn until after we booked and couldn’t get a refund that the shuttle service wasn’t starting until April 1, 2026. As a result we spent a lot of money on transportation to and from the hotel which we hadn’t planned on.
The food at the hotel is excellent! The staff so accomodating and helpful! The only reason we gave one less star on cleanliness is that we had an ant problem in our bathroom. When we called they came right away and vacuumed up the ants but they were active outside and trying to get back in so we plugged the hole ourselves.

Great room with a lovely view. The breakfast and evening meals were excellent, as was the service in all areas of the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The features in the hotel which showed aspects of its past and the location by the river and weir were ideal. Lovely pool area with towels provided too.
We had to wait a while to check in though as there was only one person on the desk and the couple in front had a problem which needed to be resolved.

Fantastic hotel with great services. Utilized the pool, the laundry service, the lobby bar, the safe underground parking.
Reception is great. They speak fantastic English and help guide you through your trip into the city of Florence if you’re driving.

Room was very clean and authentic Italian decor. The hotel is a renovated mill right in the river. Front staff so very helpful. The restaurant had incredible food. Best dessert I have ever had. Chocoltiamo a creation of the chef. Perfect textures and flavours of chocolate. Couldn’t have been happier with this choice of place to stay.
