Pinzochere 16 - Studio Apartment, Sleeps 2

Studio located on the second floor, without elevator, in a typical historic building a few steps from Piazza Santa Croce. The apartment has a double bed, a bright bathroom, complete with a shower box and a dining area. You can find everything you need for a good awakening: a kettle, a fridge, a microwave and a Nespresso coffee machine.

Upon arrival, our guests will find a courtesy kit that will be used to meet their basic needs (toilet paper, soap and shampoo, etc.).
The apartment is located in a restricted traffic area.
Check-in is by appointment from 14:00 to 20:00, and for arrivals after 20:00, there is a surcharge.
Service restriction:
Air conditioning in Italy is governed by a regulation that provides for a minimum temperature of 20° and a maximum of 22°.
The allowed temperature values in our apartment are 19°C (+2°C tolerance) up to a maximum of 21°C.
Based on Decree No. 383 of 6/10/22 of the Ministry of Ecological Transition, for the winter season, the period for turning on the plants for the City of Florence is allowed from November 8 to April 7, for a maximum of 11 hours a day.

Pay attention to the house keys. In case of loss or non-delivery of the keys, a fee of 50€ will be charged for the replacement of the lock for security reasons.
For urgent interventions caused by the guest outside office hours (From 22:00 to 08:00) a payment of 100€ will be required.
As per Italian law number 21472011 (art.40.1), the Italian police require us to communicate the identity of our guests. The informations that guests are required to share are: an identity document with a valid photo for expatriation and the address of residence .
To ensure maximum comfort for all guests, we recommend using the shower one at a time. The house is equipped with a boiler, a simultaneous use of hot water could temporarily reduce its temperature. . City Tax: € 6,00 per person per night to pay at check-in for a maximum of 7 nights

This studio is cozy and on a quiet street within walking distance of Santa Croce, Palazzo Vecci and the Duomo. The bed was comfortable and the place was clean. Check in and out were very smooth and the host was very responsive. We would stay here again.

The place was clean, and I was thankful for the air conditioning. Note to Americans: when they say it's on the 2nd floor, that's the equivalent of our 3rd floor. The stairs were difficult to climb with a heavy suitcase and no elevator. Also, the key I was given didn't work in the front door, so I was locked out until they gave me the code for the electric lock. Otherwise, it was a nice stay in a great location.

No hot water, steep stairs, bad attitude

They didn’t tell me the hot water is limited during check in cause if I was told, I would choose another place. when I find out, the hot water only last 3 minutes!!!!! When I told the agent, she said I need to turn the water on and off during shower to keep the hot water last longer(which is so stupid) I tried that on the second day, the hot water still only last for 5 minutes, it was 13C degree and raining when I was there, can you image have cold shower for 3nights in that situation? the stairs is the steepest stairs I ever have! It’s very dangerous to carry your suitcase up and down. Even without suitcase, I had to hold the handle really tight so I don’t fall. And the place is small, you can barely open your suitcase. When I ask for 1 night refund due to the hot water issue, they kept me waiting for a long time then told me it’s “normal” for the hot water to be that way and reject my refund request. I end up calling my credit card company to dispute the whole transaction to get a full refund. Such a scam!!!! The only good thing about this place is the location, but that’s it ! Don’t recommend it unless you want to suffer during your vacation! Defintely won’t stay here ever again!

Sehr nützlich nur zum übernachten, da mitten im Zentrum und alles gut erreichbar. Für wesentlich längere Aufenthalte weniger, da sehr klein. Aber um 2-4 Tage die Stadt anzusehen bestens geeignet
