This apartment was in the perfect location, just south of the Arno river on the less touristy part of Florence. It was clean, with updated bathrooms and kitchen, plus Marusca was kind enough to leave us a bottle of local wine! Highly recommend.

Amazing apartment on the river

This was one of the best rentals we have ever stayed at. The view of the river was incredible and the apartment was well furnished. Location wise, it was very easy to walk to the major attractions but was far enough away that it wasn't overrun with people. There is a nice park just down the road that we took our kid to every day.

My husband and I have been to Florence before and have stayed in hotels near the city center, but this time we wanted to enjoy other neighboring areas that tourists wouldn’t frequent. Fantastic apartment with amazing views right on the river. Great location away from the high traffic tourist areas and close to great local spots for dining and shopping. Great set up for a friends traveling together. The street is a little noisy at night so come prepared with ear plugs, but otherwise, highly recommend and would stay again. The apartment is on the 2nd floor, or 3rd floor to US travelers, so be prepared for a lot of stairs!

The BEST location for exploring Florence and surrounding area.

We loved our stay in Florence, largely due to this wonderful apartment. The location could not be better. We were in Florence for an extended stay, 30 nights, and felt very comfortable and at home. Perfect First Time in Florence

My family stayed five nights in Marusca's apartment and it was our favorite five nights during our entire trip to Italy. The apartment is perfectly located with a view of the Arno river. Close enough to all the sites yet far enough away to get a less touristy experience. If you happen to stay here be sure to go to Circolo Rondinella del Torrino for apertivo and even a yummy (and cheap) dinner. You have to get a membership which costs a whopping 2 Euro...hahaha!

Lovely Place in the Real Florence

The property is a lovely, light filled and spacious apartment located on the Arno. The apartment is near Piazza Santo Spirito in the Oltrarno. In my opinion, this is the real Florence with great restaurants and a nice neighborhood vibe away from the frenetic tourist Florence. Yet the property is central enough that it is close (0.5 mi) to all the favorite tourist haunts. The host was very responsive and very nice. Check in was a breeze. Can’t say enough nice things about this property.

Loved this apartment!!! Nice touches - coffee and shampoos available. A Brita water filter in fridge. The apartment is located close to the sites but in the more residential side of the river so it is great for the evenings. Outdoor bar across from the apartment for a drink in the evening. Lots of restaurants and gelato nearby. At times a little loud due to traffic but after falling asleep it is fine. Great place. Highly recommend!!

3 Stories Above the Arno

Be ready to walk (like most of Europe) and there are 54 stairs. The parking is convenient for the car and safe, but don’t think you’re getting in and out without some inconvenience. This is why Europeans are usually fit. The facilities are fabulous and well worth the climb. The agent assisted with bags which was nice. Very spacious well appointed… views were outstanding. Unit is new. Can’t beat the location. There are art books in the bedroom. Agent very helpful and informative. Check in a breeze.

This apartment is absolutely beautiful. The location is amazing and the VIEW!!! It is updated and comfortable. There are a few flights of stairs to have to climb with no elevators. If I would have any complaints would be the size of the showers. The showers are very small. Luckily, I am small and could fit but a larger human would have difficulty.other than that, the apartment is very nice and the location is wonderful. I would highly recommend it!

Stunning views, beautiful apartment, wonderful location!

We loved our too short stay at the apartment. I was traveling with my 7 year old daughter. The host was kind, friendly and when she found out I was traveling with a 7 year old she had gelato waiting for her upon our arrival! It was so thoughtful! The apartment is spacious, beautifully decorated with high ceilings, huge windows, and incredible views of the Arno river. It’s a short walk from the train station and to all of the popular sites. We hope to visit Florence again in the next couple of years. We hope this apartment will be available when we do. Great all around!

Nice apartment in convenient neighborhood

The apartment is large, clean, and very bright. It is well furnished with two large bathrooms. The trek to the second floor (third, if you are used to US floor numbering) is relatively easy. No elevator. There are restaurants, grocery stores, bakeries all thru the neighborhood. Easy walk to the popular sites and to the rail station, if you plan day trips to other cities. Marissa, the host, is helpful and responds quickly to questions. Highly recommend.
