My friend and I absolutely loved our stay here. The apartment is a few flights up, but it’s completely worth it for the beautiful city views and peaceful atmosphere. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the hosts went above and beyond — they even helped us carry our luggage up on check-in day! Everything was spotless, and the decor was a charming blend of antique and modern touches that felt very “Florence.” The hosts were wonderfully communicative and provided excellent local recommendations for restaurants and markets. Honestly, the only thing that could have made it better would be staying longer. Highly recommend!

The apartment is so special and whimsical and has absolutely everything and more that you might need, for example the rolling grocery cart. Location is ideal, we walked to the train station and everything else. Claudia is extremely available and even helped me secure a taxi pickup on our last day. The beds are extremely comfortable, the washing machine was so nice. Just a perfect stay!!

Great Apartment

The apartment was perfect for our family. It was very spacious and had everything we needed. We were able to cook dinner the last night of our stay which we enjoyed very much. It is perfectly located out of the very touristy area, but within a short walk to everything you would want to see and do. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful Christmas stay

The apartment was exactly as advertised. It was very cozy and close to everything. Clean and well equipped. The host met us upon arrival and kept in contact throughout our stay. I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect location in Florence

Charming two bedroom, close to all markets, the duomo, and only a short walk to the river. Host was very helpful and answered promptly whenever we had any questions. Made our first trip to Florence wonderful.

GREAT location

Excellent location. 5 flights of stairs BUT comfy beds and plenty of space for us and 2 sons. Very secure. Lovely 'feel' about the apartment.

Perfect location to see all the sites!

The 2 bedroom apartment was perfect and clean. The kitchen and sitting rooms were very comfortable and had everything we could have needed. Within walking distance to the Duomo and so many historic sites. The 5th floor walk up to as also an experience, but would definitely stay there again!

Romantic Apartment

Family of 3 adults stayed in this beautiful apartment in Florence. The decor was very artistic and we loved being able to look over the rooftops of Florence. Kitchen had everything we needed and well stocked. The bedrooms were very spacious. Close to all amenities. We would definitely stay here again. We highly recommend this wonderful apartment.

Great, cozy apartment in the city center

Great and unique apartment in the center of the city. Close to everything, all major shopping and dining sites. It is on the top floor without elevator but it didn’t bother us at all. The apartment itself is beautifully and tastefully decorated and has everything you need and even more. We enjoyed our stay and hope to be back one day.

Beautiful stay in Florence

This was a lovely property! Like the listing says, it is up 5 flights of stairs, but it honestly wasn’t too bad for our group (26 y/o females). The location was perfect for exploring Florence and the guide book provided by the host was a great touch. Be sure to look at the photos as the shower is only separated from the main room by a see-through stained glass window. Special shoutout to Claudia for meeting us at check-in and allowing us to leave our bags early! Our only gripe was that the shower was not very clean, but there were cleaning supplies provided and I assume it was due to our early arrival. Overall, we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We enjoyed our time very much. You definitely need to like doing stairs! We got used to it for sure. Location is excellent. Daniele was so helpful and patient. We thank him for all that he did for us. He had hi-speed internet installed while we were there too which was fantastic! Grazie Mille!

Perfect stay for two!

What a lovely little apartment! We stayed for three weeks while celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. Everything is an easily accessible walk - whether it’s to and from the apartment neighbourhood or across the river. We walked everywhere, and we are both in our sixties. There are 77 steps up, so good mobility is a must. We factored that in to our exercise plan! Trust me, you WILL get your steps in! The apartment has an equipped kitchen, so we shopped a lot at Conad’s grocery store - a quick little walk down the street. We thought the price for food was very reasonable. Thank you Claudia & Daniele! ♥️

My family and I stayed in this house and enjoyed our stay. The bathroom was good but one of the shower walls makes it so others can see inside. Beds were all comfortable. For the folks who may have overlooked the notice of this home being on the top floor, it is. This is equivalent to a 5th floor so not recommended for those who have limited mobility, elderly or just heavy luggages. The lights in the building are turned on automatically and from personal experience the sensors we not the best at capturing our movement to remain on so this meant a bit of a hazard when going up or downs the stairs. The home is close to major attractions

The apartment was beautiful and very cozy. Location was great, quiet but close to everything. Hosts were great with communicating.The apartment did have mosquitos present, I am covered in mosquito bites after my stay, my travel partners also have bites (not as many) but we did have to kill many mosquitos.But I would recommend this place as it is so nice and location perfect.

This property was amazing. Fabulous location, good communication with owner. Much love has gone into making this rental very special. Only complaint I have is not communicating that it’s on the fourth floor, with no lift and no coffee maker. But that being said, I would rent this apt. again while in Florence. I would just not bring so much luggage!

We were extremely late arriving to the VRBO, but Claudia arranged for a lady to meet us there to go through all the details. The location is close to everything. Could use a privacy screen for the shower. Overall, it was cozy and tastefully decorated.

Clean and full of character but noisy

The apartment was very clean and full of character as shown in the pictures though there was a loud humming noise coming from the wall at the bedhead which kept us awake between 10.00pm and 1.00am in the morning so we had to leave 3 days early. There was also construction noise from a unit below.

Spacious flat but extremely difficult to climb over 5 flights of switchbacks

Host tried help us with luggage on climbing the 5 flights of narrow stairs, but this aspect completely discouraged us from going out more than once per day. It’s spacious and homey but I would never stay here again with the difficult/exhausting trek of the stairs.
