"I really thought that The Reefhouse, being an Opal Resort would be much nicer than it was. It was okay - not great. The bathroom was awful - old and in need of a real update. This hotel is like any hotel at any beach - nothing special. We won't stay there again. "

"Old Florida experience! Perfect as a stop off between Miami and Key West. I could also imagine a very chill week there enjoying the sunset each evening."

"The rooms were not very clean and the furniture had water damage/woodpeeling. Also the bed was horrible. I will not be staying again. Totally over priced for what it was . The sheets on the bed had holes in them. There was no water pressure at all. Took forever to was my hair. I had to use a bucket fill it with water to rinse my hair out. Worst time there. And don’t even try to get ahold of the front desk. They are never there"

"The property is very well kept and the room was clean and updated. The shower was awesome! Plenty of parking, nice pool and laundry machines on premise. Palm trees on the property are all lit up at night!!! Great place... We will definitely stay here again!"

"My adult daughter and I spent 4 nights at Chesapeake Beach Resort. It was a perfect location for exploring the Florida Keys. We thoroughly enjoyed the beach area (didn’t spend any time in pool areas but they looked nice). We appreciated the breakfast everyday in the Sunshine Room and the coffee 24/7 in the lobby. We came and went from the hotel quite a lot. The room was very adequately stocked with beach and bath towels! We enjoyed our patio and deck also. Traffic noise is noticeable when patio doors are open but was not an issue with us. The walls are a bit thin and could over hear other vacationers if they were loud. But all in all we had a great stay and would stay again! (We were in room 105 a few doors down from lobby)."
