“My stay at Aqua Lodges at Hurricane Hole Marina was not terrible, but it definitely was not what I expected. The location has potential and the area is nice, however, on the day we were leaving I noticed bed bugs in the room. After discovering them, I immediately contacted the host. They told me that their inspection did not show any evidence of bed bugs, but I sent them photos as proof and I am still waiting for a response or proper resolution. “I feel that the kitchen and cottage ammentites were sub par to par. Surprised that traveling guests are expected to bring, paper plates, paper towels/ napkins, salt/pepper, toilet paper. For the price of the property, I expected the above items to be provided and I was also surprised to see broken window shades, leaky stained ceilings, rotted wood trim inside and out, remote with a broken back piece, cheap wooden/ wicker furniture. “The previous tenant had left some rotten food in the refrigerator. I contacted the owner and she took prompt action to remedy the situation by purchasing a new refrigerator. Althugh it did not make it during our stay, I was very impressed with the owner's action to insure our stay was as comfortable as it should be. I highly recommend this place and the value she offers. Will definitely stay there in the future.”
