This peaceful log cabin retreat in the hills of Floyd offers a quiet escape surrounded by nature. The home features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Bedroom 1 includes a king bed, Bedroom 2 has two twin beds, and Bedroom 3 offers a full bed, with additional sleeping space available via a pack-n-play. Extra pillows and blankets are available in the downstairs bedroom closet.
The home features a warm, open-concept living and dining area with vaulted ceilings, along with a fully equipped kitchen that includes both a standard coffee maker and Keurig. A TV with antenna service is available for local channels, and the home includes washer and dryer access (located in the basement).
Guests can enjoy the spacious wraparound deck, outdoor seating, fire pit, and large yard with a play area—perfect for relaxing or spending time outdoors. Cornhole boards are available in the outside building.

Directions & Parking:
FROM ROUTE 8: At the red light in the Town of Floyd, go north on Route 221 to Franklin Pike / Rt 681 (located just past Floyd Dollar General).
Turn right onto Franklin Pike and continue for 2 miles to the intersection of Shooting Creek.
Continue straight on Franklin Pike for 2 more miles, just past Harvestwood Church on the left.
Turn right onto Rt 682 / Paradise and continue for 1 mile.
Turn right onto Morgan Drive (gravel).
Follow Morgan Drive past a white house on the right until you see a sign with numbers 530.
Turn right up the driveway to the dead end.
Park at the end of the driveway.
Parking: Driveway parking only (easement access).
The house is located in a rural area, so please be courteous of the neighbors and keep noise levels low.
Do not run the air conditioning with doors open. Ensure all windows and doors are locked when checking out. Parties are not allowed and will not be tolerated. Quiet hours are from 9 PM to 8 AM. Guests who violate quiet hours will be notified once and then asked to leave on the second violation. No dogs over 50 pounds, and dogs must be restrained or leashed outside the porch. No cats. No icemaker. Ice trays are provided in the refrigerator freezer. Smoking is allowed outside only. The basement is off limits except for washer, dryer, and ironing use.
