I have known of this property for over 50 years by annual trips to the Blue Ridge Parkway. I have seen the property in the early years, the desolate years and now as a completely remodeled roadside inn. You do not find properties like this anymore. Everyone interested in history and an excellent stay should book at this property. The convenience of being adjacent to the Parkway is so convenient. The cost of the room is amazing considering this is the color season and the newly renovated, modern and clean rooms. It could not be any better!

Wonderful Inn right alongside the stunning Blue Ridge Parkway. The included breakfast was homemade scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and homefries. No frozen little yellow disks!! My grandmother used to call this "stick to the ribs" food!

My family enjoyed staying at the property. Right away, we were impressed by the cleanliness and newness of the room. We were provided with our check in information by text, so we didn’t have to head to the office upon arrival or check out. There was a delicious breakfast provided and a cute little store. I would recommend staying here if you’re in the area for a hike or to visit the town of Floyd.

What a gem, right off of the blue ridge parkway ♥︎ Clean and recently renovated rooms, a quaint and rural location, friendly management, and a wholesome breakfast of eggs, potatoes, sausage, coffee, and juice. I especially loved that rooms are code-locked so you don't have to worry about having a key.

Loved this little Inn. We really enjoyed our stay. Beds were exceptionally comfortable. Very clean and newly renovated. Breakfast was very good with the best coffee ever!!

Great stop for Parkway trip

Easy stop off Parkway, only 5 miles to Floyd Va with restaurants and grocery. Old-fashioned motel with nice upgrades. Comfortable and quiet. Great home-cooked breakfast included.

Nice right off BlueRidge Parkway. Close to Floyd . Got dinner at food lion since not many restaurants plus traveling with fur baby and Floyd not dog friendly. Hotels there not pet friendly.So found this quient little place. Very quiet.

It's a nice simple motel just off the parkway. No frills but clean with cold AC and an easy drive to Floyd, VA.

This hotel is given an "Exceptional" rating. However, it is run-down, and service check-in is to use a passcode. Rooms are small and behind the times, but not made up for by being charming. I was the only guest, which may be saying something. Breakfast (included) was good.

It's not fancy, but it is very clean and comfortable. Nick is very helpful and interested in providing what you need. The view is spectacular. I loved the number of outlets in the room. I use a cpap. There were options both sides of the bed to set that up. You also have numerous places to charge you electronics. The Blue Ridge Parkway is easily accessable. Along the Parkway there are awe inspiring views, sites dedicated to the history and culture of the area, walks and hikes for most skill levels. The town of Floyd is nearby where you can experience traditional music. Tuggles Gap Roadside Inn is perfectly positioned to give you access to many interesting experiences. We will be back and look forward to our next stay.
