「Friendly staff, room was clean, breakfast was simple and has several choices. The only complaint is a bit noisy, room was not soundproof.」

「Lovely, no-frills, very clean and picturesque. Staff were friendly and helpful, grounds and views beautiful, and access and seating at lake were great fun.」

「The property was great for what I needed it for: a cheap place close to the Herkimer Diamond Mine (about 10 minutes). It is dated, but you expect that with the price. The worst part was the AC did not work super great, although not bad enough to tell someone. It was very clean, and staff was friendly, although they did seem annoyed with how late we showed. Love the little kitchen nook but wish it had a coffee maker.」

「I would never stay at this motel again. From the moment we arrived, the experience was terrible. The bed sheets and blankets had a horrible smell, and we had to ask the staff to replace all of the bedding on our very first day. The comforters had cigarette burn holes, everything smelled unpleasant, and the room felt dirty. The bathroom was disgusting. We had to wear flip-flops while showering because it didn’t feel clean at all. The shower curtain was filthy and clearly had not been replaced...

I know many big groups (ie little league teams) stay in the area for days on end, and this place is a nice option with the unique feature of open space behind the inn.」
