「The property is right in the heart of Stamford and having a parking area is a real bonus. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and tidy and perfectly adequate for single occupancy, maybe on the small side for two. I loved the provision of breakfast items but in my room, although there was a table, there was no seating for two people, only a vanity stool. The en-suite bathroom was spacious, with shower supplies and fresh white towels provided, but no working shower...

「Hotels.com didn’t make me aware that the hotel was closed, the owners of the hotel were not expecting guests, as they were refurbishing the hotel, fortunately the hotel owners were great and arranged a room for me to stay. The hotel is in a good location to explore Rutland Water, I would be happy to stay again but wouldn’t book through Hotels.com」

「The hotel was a good base for the surrounding area. It was very clean and the staff were lovely and helpful. I've given it 4 stars on facilities because our room was quite small and didn't have a lot of room to manoevre around. Also we didn't realise when we booked that the pub didn't do food on the Sunday or Monday evenings and the bar closed early too. Overall a pleasant stay.」
