Your favorite Folly Reclaimed welcomes you back! Same beloved house, same owner, new management. This soulful, 2 bedroom/2 bathroom cottage tastefully fuses nostalgic charm with modern conveniences. Originally built in 1933, this vintage gem has been lovingly restored to its former glory. Once oceanfront, the building was rescued by the current owners, to save it from demolition in 2005. Recognizing its natural beauty and “solid bones,” they adopted the home and moved it to its current neighborhood, close to shops, dining and everything downtown Folly Beach has to offer. The beach and the Folly Pier are located a very walkable 4 blocks away. This delightful cottage is a wonderful place for one or two couples, a small family, a small group of close friends, or just an individual who needs some salty breezes. Whoever you are, Folly Reclaimed is the perfect home base, for immersing yourself in the rich history and laid-back vibe of Folly Beach.

The cheerful open living space includes a fully-equipped kitchen, dining area, and cozy living room. The kitchen is updated with stainless steel appliances and provides all you need to cook a simple or festive meal. The dining room is directly off of the kitchen. Indulge in tasty meals, conversations, or your favorite games and puzzles at the ample table for 4. Curl up and read a good book or watch TV in the comfy living room. The spacious screened porch is a guest favorite for morning coffee, afternoon snacks, or happy hour fun. Elevated and private, this shaded retreat is a welcoming gathering place for creating unforgettable memories.

Walking into the hallway, Bedroom #1 is the first room on the left. It offers a double-sized bed, chest of drawers, hanging clothing storage, and a small desk. A few steps further into the hall is a full bathroom with a compact stackable washer/dryer and a shower/tub combination. Bedroom #2 is located at the end of the hall. This is the primary "master" bedroom, featuring a queen-sized bed, large closet, 2 dressers and a full en-suite bathroom with a 4-foot stand-up shower. Each bedroom is also equipped with 2 luggage racks and a tower fan with sound options, in addition to ceiling fans, for extra cooling. Linens and bath towel sets are provided for the maximum occupancy of the home.

Folly Reclaimed offers a small, private fenced-in yard for furry friends. We welcome up to two dogs per stay with the payment of of a $125 (plus tax) pet fee per dog. Free parking on the premises includes 2 carport spaces for smaller vehicles and up to 3 spaces in the front driveways. Ride shares are scarce on the island, so please plan transportation accordingly. Check-in is 4 PM. Check-out time is 10 AM.

Folly Beach downtown area is only a half block away. Wander through local shops, markets (seasonal & holidays), listen to live entertainment, and eat at one of our local restaurants. All restaurants and shops are open year-round. Stroll along Center Street to the Folly Pier or wander to the east end of the island to find the Morris Island Lighthouse, a local and tourist favorite, for wow-worthy photos! Get out on the water to take a fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, shelling, or dolphin watching tour from a licensed guide. Surfing lessons are available through several companies and instructors.

Just a short, 25-minute drive will take you into historical, downtown Charleston to enjoy all of the charm that the Holy City has to offer. Experience world-class dining, art galleries, explore swanky boutiques, souvenir shopping along The Market, harbor views from The Battery and Waterfront Park, theater, comedy clubs, museums, grand churches, history, carriage and ghost tours, plus so much more! Folly Reclaimed offers all modern amenities. These include 4 beach chairs, 4 beach towels, 1 beach cart, free WIFI, Roku TV, keyless entry, contactless check-in, central heat and A/C, washer/dryer, modern appliances, and fenced yard. A starter supply of toiletries is provided. Guests can replenish, as needed. This home is non-smoking. Pet friendly for 2 pets (dogs only) with $125 + tax fee per pet. No events allowed that exceed the maximum occupancy of the home, regardless of sleeping or visiting. Must be 25 years old or older to rent. Property has 24-hr on-call maintenance services. **HOUSE SUPPLIES**
This property is managed by a property management group. We provide a complimentary starter amenity kit to get you settled. Guests are responsible for replenishing supplies as needed during their stay.
Two rolls of paper towels, 1 sponge, 1 dishwashing liquid, 3 trash bags, 3 dishwasher tabs, and 2 kitchen towels in the kitchen. Each bathroom will have 2 toilet paper rolls and at least 1 bar of soap. Full bathrooms additionally include kits with travel size products: 1 shampoo, 1 conditioner, 1 lotion bottle, and 2 makeup wipes.
