“This is a great location for exploring Norfolk. We were only there one night but it was peaceful and accommodated all 3 of us with our dog. The owner was excellent with her communication but not at all intrusive. Nice touches like our own private garden with a BBQ where they kindly left some coals so we had the option to use it.”

“This property and the people that run it is excellent. It is ideal for the single traveller or a couple who just require a comfortable base whilst touring the area and the rest of Norfolk. It is very pet friendly and the hosts are excellent, however it is not the easiest location to find in Feltwell, without sat nav. The property is immaculate and well maintained.”

“Paid for 5 nights, stayed for 1. Host ignored multiple messages, phone number wouldn’t connect. Pillows and pullout mattress beyond unsanitary. Overpowering odour throughout property. Weirdly, there was attention to detail in some areas. Beautiful setting, well maintained garden, great location. Such wasted potential from an uncaring host. Had to book another accommodation for the remainder of my trip. Wasn’t expecting luxury but at the very least, basic hygiene standards and beds which could be……

“Expedia confirmed my booking and took payment. Around two hours later, the host cancelled because of “an error with the calendar” — for a stay that was due the very next day. That alone was bad enough, but the refund process made it worse. It took two days and three phone calls to Expedia to chase a proper refund, after the first refund shown was only partial. So I was left with no accommodation, wasted time, unnecessary stress, and then had to fight to get back the money I should never have……
