A very private and quiet one-bedroom apartment at the back of an interior courtyard. There is a large patio and private fenced backyard with a grill. Shopping is easy with a full-size, mid-priced grocery store (Publix) and a large drugstore (CVS) just a short block away. Central air conditioning. Office chair and small desk.

Kitchen: The Kitchen is equipped for real cooking. There are sharp knives and a full set of non-stick pots and pans.

Coffee: Keurig coffee maker. We provide 4 pods to get you started.

4K SmartTV, log on to your Netflix/HBO/etc account

Wi-Fi: two internet connections (AT&T and Comcast) provide redundancy. Both are the highest residential speeds available. Stream 4K movies or do video calls.

Parking: unassigned parking in front of the building

Babies: every unit has a crib, and a highchair is available on request.

Beach gear: we provide beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, and a cooler.

Private Patio

Gas Grill: you are welcome to clean it to your satisfaction and then to use it. Most guests just heat it up to 400-500 degrees, brush it off a bit, and find that satisfactory. If the gas runs out, let us know, and we will fill it the next morning (Sundays excepted).

I live in Europe, so I can't greet you on arrival. You will find the key in a lockbox when I arrive. I am very responsive to email, and I have a professional property manager who lives just a mile away.

The interior courtyard is its own little oasis of calm and quiet. The surrounding neighborhood is safe but nothing special as the building is on a semi-busy 4-lane road.

Major grocery store (Publix) just one block away. Drugstore, Dunkin Donuts, and many other shops and restaurants are on Sunrise, just one block away.

Uber! Rent a car!

Please, please, please do not come to Florida thinking you are going to rely on taxis or public transportation. The taxis are awful in every way. Public transportation is do-able in limited circumstances.

Download Uber on your smartphone. Enterprise Rent-a-Car is just one block away.

The TV gets local channels only. It is a Smart TV, so you can access Netflix, HBO or other streaming services. (Smart TV, no cable)

Bugs are a constant battle in Florida. You may encounter some during your stay. We exterminate using traps, bait, sprays, and fumigation. There is bug spray on the top shelf in the kitchen cabinet furthest from the sink. If you need us to come and exterminate, we can send someone Monday through Saturday (Sundays are more difficult).
