Upon arrival we were told the hotel was completely sold out. I told the concierge that I booked a room 2 weeks ago to which he replied ah yes we have one room left. I asked if it was partial ocean view since that’s what I booked. He told us the rooms are first come first serve it had a view but of the parking lot. It was my daughter’s 20th birthday. That was first disappointment. We went up to the room my daughter entered the bathroom which she couldn’t close the door too because it was rubbing on the frame. She lifted the toilet seat and discovered diahrea all over the seat. It was disgusting. I went to the phone to call downstairs but the phone was dead. I didn’t bother going downstairs but took pics of toilet and door. Room also was very musty and humid. We went downstairs to the ocean side for a few hours then when we came back the ac cooled the room so it was better. The sheets had stains. We flipped them over and just went to sleep. There was also hair around the sink in the bathroom. This was so embarrassing for me since I wanted to treat my family to a nice ocean view hotel. We checked out in the morning and went to the beach. It was the first and the last time we will be staying there. I would like my refund of the key cash we used. My credit card company already refunded us for the stay upon receiving the pictures and our statement.

It is false advertisement when you say Partial Ocean View and the only thing you can see is AC units on the rooftop of the building. Although this is listed as an Expedia VIP hotel, there were zero perks or acknowledgment even though it was noted that this was rented for an anniversary celebration. The Location is good, it is a 20 min walk to Lauderdale by the Sea Bars and restaurants. It is a favorite area of ours

Resort was nice but had a couple issues checking in was not given towel cards or wristbands. Didn’t know anything about this until trying to get towels then was asked where our wristbands were. The restaurant and tiki bar are very pricey and they had 20% gratuity to all meals and drinks. I also think that they should word that there are chairs and umbrellas at no cost on beach they are actually in the pool area. We had to pay $50 for beach chairs and umbrella to be on the beach. Otherwise nice place.

One of the worst place to stay on beach. Terrible service and staff. Out of 4 days 22 of those days we stayed I have to call them repeatedly to get our room cleaned. One of those days after several repeated complaints and requests they told us that after 4:30 no cleaning was available. Don’t stay here.

When we got there. People were stuck in the elevator. We were told that happened on the other elevator earlier that day. We stayed for two days and only one elevator was working. The stairs the door was locked and the other set of stairs were closed. It was a fire hazard. Then I used the laundry washed my clothes was told they would have more quarters in the morning. They did not. If you’re going to have those amenities you should have quarters. Also wasn’t a very clean and upkept place

This was our third year staying at Ocean Sky. A nice small hotel right on the beach. Great location. Restaurants and stores in walking distance, You can walk to Lauderdale by the sea where there are many restaurants bars and shops. The staff is friendly. The tiki hut next store is lively and fun and the food is good.

Beautiful property. Lovely beach. You gave to pay for the chairs/ umbrella in the beach, mini golf and jet ski at the pool area. Room was beautiful. It can be a challenge to get in early as check-in is 3 pm. They did accommodate us, thankfully. Our room was great with a view and balcony and we would definitely stay again longer. We only did it for one night before our cruise but it was a perfect afternoon on the beach and we couldn’t even use all the amenities available since we stayed so briefly. Very nice option if you have a few days.
