This South Florida canal home located minutes from the beach is nestled in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by water and parks with one way in and out. It sits at the end of a cul-de-sac on its own private road where privacy is at its best!

Newly remodeled 3 bedroom 2 bath house with heated pool. Explore Florida with provided kayaks in the canal that leads to the ocean. Neighborhood parks include, beach volleyball, basketball, nature trails, exercise routes and benches, RV parking and more.

Enjoy this home with provided kayaks, bbq grill and heated pool.

This home is located 4 miles from the beach. 12 miles from Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport and 5 miles to downtown las olas.

We had the best time staying here with our whole family! The house was comfortable, stylish, and had everything we needed. The heated pool was basically our second living room, we spent more time there than anywhere else . The kayaks were such a fun bonus, and the quiet neighborhood made it feel like a private retreat.Honestly, the only downside was having to leave. We’d come back in a heartbeat!

Very nice place. A bit smaller than pictures make it look but location was great and house was very clean. I’d give it a 5 star but information I received in email was incorrect about WiFi and tv info, I know minor but was sorted out after a few emails to owner. I would recommend this house for your next stay.

Check in was a breeze. The kitchen had everything we needed though we didn't really cook much because there were so many restaurants to try. Wi-Fi was easy to access. Plenty of beds which were comfy. The pool was amazing after a long day of exploring the everglades (definitely recommend the sawgrass mills recreation park for an airboat ride and petting baby gators. Very friendly and knowledgeable people.)The canal is beautiful and we got to see a ton of lizards and iguanas in the yard and on the patio. It was just myself and my elderly father so we didn't get to use the kayaks as it was a bit of a "climb" down the ladder to the water (probably different when the water level is higher) and my father couldn't do it. It was disappointing as the included kayaks was a big reason for renting this place, but absolutely no fault of the owner, just nature. The kayaks were available and nice, as well as a SUP which I'm not sure we were allowed to use as it wasn't included in the ammenities, but we couldn't have used it anyway so i didn't even ask. There were only 2 VERY minor issues with the place that i noticed. 1- if you're a person who falls asleep playing on your phone, there isn't a plug to charge your phone that reaches the bed unless you have a very long cord. Again, just my preference and extremely minor issue. 2- my father had a recent stroke and is unsteady, the step down from the kitchen to the sunroom was hard for him as it is hard to see but also, not an issue for most.

Our stay

This place was awesome. It was everything we wanted when we rented this house. Inside was great and outside was great. We drove down from Atlanta to work. We was so happy to have a grill to cook on and a wonderful kitchen. Outback was wonderful, we saw lots iguanas, we caught fish and crab and was able to stay and swim everyday after a hot day at work. Will definitely try and rent the house when we come back. Thanks for making this a very pleasant stay.

Great Host , very responsive . Great Stay , very peaceful neighborhood. Everything that is shown on the listing matched the expectations of the house plus more . Long Easter Weekend

We spent a last minute long Easter weekend at the Oakland Park Property. It was clean, spacious and nicely decorated. The outdoor space was amazing, a couch under a thatched pergola, a huge dining table under a roof, and of course a beautiful heated pool. We spent our days floating in the pool, and watching boats traveling down the canal. I would not recommend small children as the canal is very close to the edge of the patio and there is no rail or fencing. The beaches and wonderful restaurants were were less than 10 miles away. I highly recommend this lovely property.

Fantastic Patio Area

We stayed for a month. The place was immaculate. The kitchen and bathrooms were recently renovated. There were plenty of towels, plates, glasses, dishes, etc. The pool and deck area was the best. We never wanted to go inside. There was plenty of room to swim, eat , read and entertain. We loved that the pool was heated. The only reason we didn’t rate this 5 stars was becygbete wasn’t enough living room furniture. It needs a few chairs, a coffee table and maybe an area rug for coziness. We definitely recommend staying here.

Amazing lanai and pool area

Stayed from Christmas thru New Year's. The lanai and pool were perfect to enjoy the fabulous weather. The house has all the basics. If I were to visit again, I'd bring my own kitchen extras... Steak knives, specific utensils, a big pot. The parks nearby are nice for a walk. Communication with the owners was easy and they are quick to respond.

Great Vacation

The house was great, very clean, beds were comfortable, outdoor area and pool was awesome, host was quick to reply to questions. If I could add anything to the house I would put TVs in the bedrooms, night stands in the master, and screen in the outdoor dining area (mosquitos got pretty bad at times). Those are all just luxuries that would be nice, but in no way ruined the stay. We would definatly come back again.

Perfect for Quiet Bachelorette

Overall, our stay was amazing. The house was exactly what we needed. My only complaint is the lack of kitchen utensils. The pool and outside areas were incredible - could have relaxed all day out there. Highly recommend for a girls trip!

Wonderful Stay! Enjoyed amenities

We loved staying here for so many reasons. The neighborhood doesn't seem very upscale, but once you're inside the house, it is very private and feels like an oasis! The canal was wonderful for kayaking and although we never caught a fish, we enjoyed the fishing rods that were provided. The home is very nicely renovated and was a joy to be in. The kids loved the heated pool! The only things that need upgrading were the cookware, lack of utensils, and cooking utensils, no bake-ware provided. Could use a laundry basket or two, and towel rods in the bathroom. Needs a dresser in the third bedroom to unpack and make the stay more homey. Lacy was really responsive and helpful. Very friendly. Overall an excellent stay!! We hope to return!!

Wonderful place to stay

Overall, the place was what we needed. Perfect place for our kids to swim and sit outside. Very nice pool and outside sitting areas.. and perfect views for sunsets. Not the closest to stores but barely an inconvenience. First time in the area and using VRBO and would definitely consider staying here again. The host was easily reachable and helped us through everything. The only suggestions I have are some more kitchen towels and maybe another set of dishes for the kitchen.
