Condo was clean, had basic kitchen necessities and access to a lovely big pool. Property manager was responsive and fixed a couple of malfunctioning items. We needed to accomplish work in Fort Myers and Sanibel so location was ideal. Sunsets are spectacular ! We will probably return in the fall.

Perfect Stay

Very easy booking and communication, check-in was very simple. This is a great location just before the bridge to Sanibel. A very nice view off of the balcony. The condo had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay!

5 star property. 1 star check in.

Beautiful property that worked well for our family. The only problem was the check in. We were given the wrong code and had to wait outside our room for over an hour. It’s definitely not fun waiting in a hallway with a hot and tired toddler.

Best girls trip ever!

It was amazing! Loved being on the 9th floor. The pool was super. The rooms were really great and very clean. The extra blankets, towels and pillows were appreciated. We enjoyed our vacation immensely. Thank you Dorene Dostal

Sanibel is beautiful and a favourite place. The appartment was fine but managed extremely poorly.

I have never had call to write a negative review on a property rental via VRBO. However, our recent stay at a property in Sanibel (Florida) managed by Vacasa was a disappointment and their customer service is abysmal. We had several concerns which were reported whilst we were there. Apart from what turned out to be minor issues like a milk stained glass put away in the cupboard and torn furniture, our main issues were that the property did not lock. It was an electronic lock with a key code. We had to risk it and leave the property unlocked so that we were able to go out but it obviously left us feeling concerned, there were key cards for the pool and they did not work, other guest let us in and master bathroom was virtually unlit with only one light working out of 8. The sink/mirror and shower were in complete darkness. I have been corresponding with Vacasa and so far the same person hasn't replied. I have now responded ot 8 different people and they ignore all my concerns except the bathroom light where they continually tell me where the light switch was and to lie to say that the lights are working. It was just a simple single on/off switch. After they told me that the lights were checked before we arrived and after and they are working perfectly I told them that was untrue and that I have photos; requesting an email address so that I could send proof of only one light bulb illuminating. The response was I should have sent th whilst I was there. Will never rent with VACASA

Property will be nice after fully restored

Property still going through hurricane recovery. Three power outages, one lasting 5 hours. Elevator will stop running intermittently which can be a terrible thing from the 9th floor. The elevator will also take you to several floors before taking you to your desired floor. The TV is in and out due to slow wifi connection. The beach area smells, likely due to hurricane. The repairs are noisy, but necessary. Pool not ready yet either. Area is great though and building should be back to normal in a while.

Beautiful and relaxing

We loved our stay! We had a couple small issues but they were immediately resolved. The condo is beautiful with comfy furniture. Nice location. Very quiet and relaxing. Exactly what we needed!

A Bit of Paradise

Our trip to touch base with Florida cousins and grandchildren was a delight. The apartment was very Florida in design, beautiful., yet functional. Only suggestion-Fire Extinguisher in the kitchen, just in case.)

Loved it!

This was perfect for us. The condo itself has plenty of room, but you might not need it because if you are like me, you’ll spend all of your time on the balcony that overlooks the bay. It had everything we needed for a day at the beach, and if we didn’t want to travel, the small beach at the condo was great, too. The pool was nice and most of the time, we had it to ourselves. It came furnished with toiletries, but you may want to pack extra soap and shampoo. This unit was private, yet close to just about everything, including the bridge to Sanibel. We had a minor issue that was fixed within a couple of hours, and communication with the host was excellent. If we ever go back to Ft. Myers, we’ll definitely stay here.

Great location, but issues with things not working

The property is beautiful. This is our second stay and we love it. We had issues with this particular unit as follows: Main issue was washer didn't work and flooded the kitchen floor, but then we noticed that the dryer was unplugged and we couldn't plug back in because it was a stack unit in a confined pantry area--so we had to dry our towels and clothes outside (towels get very rough wneh you dry outside). After several calls and complaints, 3 days later they sent someone over to fix it. Which they did not fix entirely because the dryer took several hours to dry one small load. But the BIGGEST frustration was is that they KNEW the washer was broken and never told us that! We had to make so many calls to try and get this rectified--it really put a damper on our vacation. Not only that, but none of the TVs were set up properly and we had to wait two days to get that fixed. Lastly, I badly burned my finger by warming up my coffee cup in the microwave for 30 seconds (the mug said microwave safe) which produced a terrible blister that had to be bandaged up the entire time. VERY disappointing!

Had a very relaxing week

913 condo was great. We had a few hiccups when we arrived as we weren't sure we had the right building but got it straightened out quickly. The bay view was lovely and very relaxing.
