Beach Vacation

Everything about our stay was great! Easy reservations process, very clean condo, great view, great communication with Vacasa. Couldn’t ask for a better experience. Will definitely do it again!

Good except room features

The room was fine but outdated. There was a towel rack missing, dust on the wall hanging/pictures, black stuff on ceiling and bathroom wall, floor was sticky and nasty. Bed was OK but you sank to the center. View was awesome and the beach service was great. Great location and not real busy.

Great stay

The view was perfect. Everything was just what you want for a beach trip. The condo could be "freshen up" some, new paint and minor touch ups, but nothing took away from the stay.

Nice view but needs updating

Would give it 4 stars if it had been updated. I do like the view from the balcony, pool and the beach were nice. Just needs a lot of updates to this room.

Beautiful view/Dirty inside

The view with this condo is perfect. But the inside was really a disappointment. The white walls were filthy and scuffed everywhere. The couch had red stains and was not clean. We had to put a towel down to sit on it. The shower and sink in the bathroom was not clean. All appliances worked with no problem. The kitchen had everything you would need. The staff was very helpful and friendly. This condo needs an upgrade ASAP!

Great condo for families!

We loved the ocean view and cleanliness of the place. The beach was not over crowded in front of our condo. The space in our condo was perfect for me my husband and 7 year old son. The place felt private and secure with code entry. We enjoyed our stay here.

Best location!

Traffic in the area of this condo is actually great even in June. Lots of places within 2 miles for eating and shopping and right on the beach with a GORGEOUS view. Our only issue with this unit was the AC seemed to not work well for us at night. The second night we were up 2 times in the night trying to get the AC to cool to the temp we preferred. We usually don’t have issues with this type of equipment so not sure if they stopped it from getting cooler than 69 or if there was a problem with the AC. Either way, wasn’t a deal breaker and we would definitely book again!

Wonderful

My husband, myself and our 6 year old twins took a quick 4 day weekend just to get away and had a blast! Plenty of room for us. Great location. Easy booking, easy check in, easy check out. Perfect!

Worst stay in my life

The photos showed onsite and what we went into was so different. It was so dirty . Dry tomatoes on the kitchen counter , floors so dirty my feet was black, the rust in bath tube and sinks, and the mood was horrible . We had construction crew wake us up at 7:30 am sat morning standing on our balcony. The bed was so dirty and all the furniture in the condo. I sat on the bed and felt it was about to fall apart . The pull out sofa had white stains on them. It was so out dated and gross . My husband and i will never go back. We almost booked a stay at the Hoilday inn down the street and lose our money just because how horrible it was . If we wasn’t on a strict budget we would have . Don’t stay here . Out dated, moldy , rusty , and dirty condo.

Not a good as pictured

For one the room I looked at is not the same one I got . The bed slept awful and the ac was not cooling off properly so I’m glad it wasn’t the middle of summer . The view of the beach was somewhat blocked by the working equipment since they were redoing the balcony, something that wasn’t stated in the writing until after I booked .

VACATION 2019

THE CHECK IN PROCESS WAS SO EASY AND THE LOCATION WAS PERFECT! THE VIEW FROM OUR ROOM WAS AMAZING. MY ONLY COMPLAINT WAS THE MATRESS HAD A HUGE STAIN ON IT WHICH LOOKED TO BE BLOOD SO IT WAS PRETTY NASTY BUT WE MADE DUE AND REALLY ENJOYED THE STAY. I WILL USE HOMEAWAY AGAIN IN THE FUTURE!

Fantastic beach-laidback vacation

We landed late in the evening and picked up the door code from the box outside the office. The room smelled rather stale but could be that no one had stayed there in a while. Either we got used to the smell or it went away. Slept with the sliding doors wide open the first night to enjoy the sounds of the ocean. Woke up early went to breakfast and brought back groceries it was a little disappointing that we had to buy coffee filters and other random “essentials.” It was only two adults so the unit worked well for us. It was bright and sunny-also had great black out curtains for my husbands afternoon nap. We loved the beach and Dolton the guy working was helpful and friendly. The beach wasn’t crowded until close to the weekend and even then it wasn’t bad. I would highly recommend the islander and our condo. We felt like we found a new home away from home. Okaloosa Island is much better than Destin in my opinion it was much less crowded and touristy. I hope we return year after year.

Best beach trip ever.

Was called the day before my trip and told there was a problem with this unit and they had to move us to another room. I got a free upgrade to a great room on the top floor. The view from the balcony was stunning, both day and night. The checkin/checkout process was smooth and painless. Both me and my significant other agree... This was the easiest and best beach trip we've ever had.
