“I rented one of the studio cabins. Upon arrival, it was very hot in the cabin. There was a window unit that was set to 69° but it was still hot in the cabin. I did turn on the ceiling fan and I brought another fan of my own. After a few hours, it was much more comfortable. I also found a thin mattress on metal springs and very flat pillows. Thankfully, I brought my own pillow. I also had to make my own bed upon arrival. Upon leaving, I was expected to sweep my floor and take the garbage out.……

“We have been routinely been coming to the Ft Walton area for about 2 years now, and I can’t believe we haven’t stayed here before. Housekeeping was fantastic, front staff was lovely, and everything was incredibly well maintained. There were some elevator issues while we were there, but we were not affected. We traveled with 2 labs, and it was so nice to have so much lawn space around the property for them to walk around. They also had smart TV’s, which was appreciated. Great shower pressure, bed……

“Upon arrival, I was greeted with a smile and kindness. Easy check in process. The perfect stay for families. 5 mins away from Target. Slim Chicken is a 1 minute walk from the hotel. 8 minutes away from the Okaloosa Pier. Breakfast was well seasoned and plenty of variety. I loved the Hot Cakes machine. Check out was easy. Definitely coming back!”

“Simone and all the staff were so friendly and amazingly helpful. We had our 2 little dogs with us and the room was perfect. Nice and big and it was very clean. Coffee in the morning was delicious as well. Nice big area to walk the dogs too. Great place to stay with animals. 😊”

“Excellent and very clean property. My only issue was finding front desk staff. It was hit or miss whether or not anyone would be around. We wanted to buy some items amd we waited so we could pay and after about 15 to 20 minutes, we gave up. The room was excellent and the breakfast was spot on.”

“The whole stay was wonderful! Very clean room, great beach access, loved the location, and a pretty nice pool. We definitely would stay again!”

“Overall, my stay was great. The only critiques I have are that if you get to breakfast at 6:30 depending on who’s serving it it can be a little late and the food is lukewarm and they have no microwave to heat it up. They are pretty good about staying on top of refilling things. The only other downside is there isn’t a huge amount of parking so if you get to the hotel later at night, all the parking spots are usually filled. The beds are firm, but I like a firm bed. They are very good about……

“Family friendly! Staff was very nice and knowledgeable. I will likely stay there again. We like the location and the atmosphere. We very much enjoyed sitting outside where we sat and could look out at the Sound. I appreciated the breakfast however, it was not what I would think it ought to have been. It seemed cold and seemingly in hurry to put it away before time that breakfast was over. There were some things that seemed to be in need of repair. Possibly the Shower and sink drain needed……

“If you can stay somewhere else, do! My room, while "upgraded" to a double king, was not only filthy but also smelled so weird that I had to hand-clean and spray down everything myself multiple times throughout my 10-day stay. There was no dresser for clothing, the refrigerator/freezer was iced over completely (they replaced it), and multiple surfaces contained mold or other stains. The staff was quite often missing wjen needed. All in all, quite awful.”

“The room was available at a cheap price so you only get which you pay for. Basically I can’t really complain because of the price, but the furniture was old and stained. The beds were not comfortable. There was water on the floor in between the beds why I don’t know the toilet would not blush for a very long time. I had to keep flushing, although check-in was quick and service was good. I guess not too much not too little type of service but overall the only time I would ever stay here again is……

“The resort charged an additional fee to check in early (12:00). They also charged me an additional fee for my daughter. They only give you the number of towels to match your party. They also mentioned charging me for a towel due to makeup residue. I feel they definitely try to add any additional charge possible to your stay once you arrive.”

“Prepare your to be changed for $50 dls each day “like deposit “ but they didn’t return your money, yeah, so, how many days they took to see the room if you left at the same condition that you check in , really!!! They still my money this pissed me off…”

“Conveniently located to the beaches. Housekeeping was poor there for 3 nights they didn’t do trash or clean room. I had to get towels. When asked the front desk said you have to request cleaning.”
