Beautiful 4 bed; 2 bath home on Long Lake! Pontoon Boat Available to Rent!

Long Lake Landing is the perfect destination for your northern Michigan getaway. This beautifully and welcoming home is suitable for a large family or even two family's vacationing together. Nestled on all sports Long Lake, you will find enjoyment for all ages from day to night. Spend mornings out on the deck while having coffee and watching the sunrise, days can be spent out on the lake swimming along the sandy bottom shoreline or fishing off the dock (dock won't be in the water until mid-June), nights can be spent roasting smores and hanging out around the fire, all while enjoying the gorgeous sunsets!

Foodie families will enjoy this modern fully equipped kitchen that features an island with bar seating, along with additional bar seating facing the picture window, which can be opened up to conveniently serve meals out to the deck! A gas grill is provided as well for outdoor cookouts and gatherings. Wireless internet, linens and towels are all provided for your enjoyment. Pets are welcome with fee and must be crated if left home alone. Pet fee(s) of $100/pet will apply. 2 pet maximum. You will also find 1 kayak, 1 canoe, 2 paddleboards, a paddle boat, and a floating swimming platform available for your use. For an additional cost, there is also a pontoon boat available for you to rent for your stay(pontoon rental cost is NOT included in booking total). Paddles and life jackets are also available.

Long Lake Landing is conveniently located just 30 minutes from Stearns Public Beach and Downtown Ludington, 40 Minutes from the beautiful Ludington State Park and 20 minutes to Meijer grocery store.

For security purposes only, there are 3 exterior security cameras on the property. One is at the front door facing the front porch and yard and there are two in the back facing the back deck and back yard.

My family and I stayed at this residence for a wedding weekend and commuted to Ludington for those festivities. The location was an easy 30 minute drive to Ludington and Lake Michigan. Nikki from West Shore Properties is fantastic and super responsive!The house itself was overall pretty outdated. The upstairs bedrooms and bathroom were older and the bedding was older. Would recommend bringing extra pillows and blankets. The kitchen is very nice and well equipped. Outdoor areas are also nice!

We all want to go back!

This is by far our favorite vacation rental. Perfect views and set up for gatherings with family and friends. Check in was super easy. Great living room and kitchen space. Lots of kitchen tools provided. Comfortable beds. Everyone enjoyed being outside doing all sorts of activities: fishing, swimming, playing in sand, enjoying all the water outdoor activities provided. So relaxing! Kids are already requesting to go back! It is not too far away from ludington where we enjoyed some tourist attractions as well!

Kept the family entertained!

Great location, lots of fun! The first level of the home is great, especially the kitchen! Everything you need is available. Bathrooms and upstairs could use updates. There is no a/c upstairs so it is very hot in the summer months. Other than that it is a great property with lots to do.

Nice place to relax for the weekend.

Property has a nice beach area and had paddle boards, a canoe, and a paddle boat to use. The kids and adults enjoyed them. The outdoor space of this home is great, with plenty of seating, grill, deck, campfire area. Rooms were adequate in size and the kitchen is very nice and stock with most kitchen tools you could ever need. The only thing that would of made our stay better would have been a King size bed in the main bedroom because I'm tall in stature.

Making Memories on Long Lake

Our family had a lovely time at this property. Plenty of beds for heads, a spacious main living area to accommodate larger groups, and an updated kitchen with special features like two pot filler faucets, a large chef stove, and a sizeable quartz island. There were a few small hiccups along the way, but the property management company was extremely responsive and helpful. I'd absolutely do business with them again. Some favorite moments: morning coffee on the deck watching the sun come up, floating or paddling out on the lake, swinging in the hammock in the shady yard, or watching a thunderstorm roll through as we played cards around the table. A few considerations (some mentioned by other reviewers, as well): water traffic is heavier on weekends, but lightens up during the week. Storage is limited, especially in bedrooms and bathrooms, so we had to get creative about wet towels and bathing suits, suitcases, clothes, and toiletry bags. Several items inside and out are showing signs of wear and tear such as broken or rusty kitchenware, stained towels, cracked patio chairs, air conditioner units blowing occasional warm air, etc. Overall, this Long Lake property was a wonderful find for making memories together!

Great getaway

We had a wonderful time at the property! There was plenty of room and beach towels. The kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed the view from the kitchen. The kids enjoyed the canoe rides!

Taking great memories from our stay at Long Lake House

July 14 – 21, 2023 - Great weather and few bugs = plenty of time outdoors. Varied deck seating accommodated preferences and sit-stand needs. Lawn / deck varied between direct sun and (mostly) dappled shade; birdwatchers were happy 24/7. Lake-lovers enjoyed a wadable entry. The dock was well-used for meditation, canoe launching, and much cannonball mischief (minding the 10pm – 8am quiet time). Three large floaters were inflated when we arrived (hooray!) PFDs were in a bin with water toys on the deck. When we reported issues with the paddle boards, management folks were very responsive (thank you!) Inside, helpful labels were on wall switches and drawers. Cooks and bartenders had the space, cookware, and dining ware (service for 12+!) to do their thing. Considerations: Some of us found the wi-fi unreliable. There is motorized water traffic - mostly weekend days / later afternoons. Prepare for limited storage - bedrooms and bathrooms have small shelves, but no / few drawers, no closets in some - can call for creativity to dry bath towels, unpack clothes, or hang clothes needed for a night out or for the special event bringing you to the area. And, experienced lake-renters know to ask whether lawn service or lake management (spraying for weeds or pests) are scheduled during your stay. Long Lake House is a wonderful place for a relaxed, relaxing gathering. We cherish the memories we made there - our heartfelt appreciation to the owners for making this space available!

Weekend getaway

A wonderful place, very accommodating, the deck , itself, the amenities, and the setting overlooking the lake were beautiful. The kayak, canoe, standup paddle boards, the private beach, and dock were added bonuses. Five stars, for sure!

Beautiful lake house getaway

We badly needed a family weekend getaway. This was just what the doctor ordered and, if anything, the online pictures did not quite do this property justice. Beautiful gourmet kitchen for those who like to cook, grand deck with plenty of seating, sweeping views of the lake throughout throughout the whole first level, and beautiful sandy private beach and lake access. My family had a great time and were pleasantly surprised. We will be back!

Lakeside Relaxation

Wonderful place for lakeside fun and relaxation. The small beach with boats was a hit with the kids, and the porch was a great place to relax in the evening. We had a rainy day, but indoor there was enough space and games for a fun day nevertheless. Great stay and would love to come back!

Beautiful location, great property!

The pictures do not do justice! Location is amazing, the lake is beautiful, property is very well equipped! Our family had a wonderful time: enjoyed swimming, fishing, kayaking, and spending evenings on a cozy, nicely furnished deck!
