“Room was nasty. I didn’t even want to shower because bathroom wasn’t clean, and wore shoes the whole time in my room because I was afraid to go barefoot. Glad I had a travel blanket in my car because sheets were dirty so I slept on top of my blanket. No coffee pot in room or lobby. Advertised continental breakfast-even had sign at front desk-said they discontinued that years ago and told me to go to Waffle House across the street. Were rude. Empty vending machines. Lobby area dirty. Parking lot……

“The sound insulation of the room is not very good”

“Mattress and pillows were hard. Room smelled heavily of bleach which did not dissipate over the 3 days that we were there. Breakfast terrible. Good points was location to quartz mine and price not bad. About 20 minutes to Hot Springs. ”

“Hotel was ok, but a little run down. Check in staff were friendly. Rooms were clean, but bathroom tub didn’t drain properly. Breakfast was poor. Only waffle maker, cereal, breads, and biscuits with white gravy. The syrup for the waffles wasn’t refilled, so waffles weren’t even worth it. Fine if you’re just looking for a clean and comfortable place to sleep, but don’t expect much more.”

“It was 3:15 check in was 3. They called me but I was driving so I waited until I got to a safe place to call them back. Check in is 3pm-2am. I was literally just about a mile away and they gave away my room. No explanation just gave it away it was the handicap room. How was I getting another handicap room for a week with 15 minutes notice. Every hotel was 3x-5x the price. I’m disabled. I tried every single hotel, nothing. I drove 27 hours. ( snoozed a bit at rest stops). I was seriously stuck.……

“Wonderful staff for breakfast and cleaning after people finished eating. Did not like the change in rooms because of a pet, but understand that this was necessary. We did not like the surprise high pet charge.”

“Room size is fine for one night, a bit small for a longer stay. The bathroom wasn't as clean as it could have been. Breakfast was fine, but the coffee is bitter. The location was great for us with Oaklawn Park and several restaurants within easy walking distance.”

“This was the worst stay I have ever had at a Holiday Inn, by far. We are usually very happy with all Holiday Inns. To begin with, we ordered groceries to pick up upon our arrival for our family to have for lunches and snacks. We loaded the refrigerator, not knowing that it was broken until the next day. We called. He kicked it a few times, said it’s running and he could feel the cold. So we went out to our adventures for the day. That evening, we realized it was, in fact, not working. So I……

“We lived on the first floor. At around 8 o'clock in the evening, the corridor was very noisy. It might be the guests staying there. It lasted for a while and then became quiet. Everything else is fine”

“I didn’t have a kitchen. I did have a refrigerator & microwave & coffee maker. I loved my room. & bathroom. It’s an old motel that has been perfectly updated with a beautiful tiled bathroom & lovely fixtures . Exceedingly comfortable!”
