“We stayed for one night at the Shermann Hotel for leisure purposes. Our friends who checked in in front of us were offered water bottles and area suggestions, we were not. Our shower was very small making it hard to move, our friends who booked last minute had a nicer room. Checking out our friends were greeted and thanked, we were not. The only difference was we’re reserved through Expedia several weeks in advance and our friends booked directly with the hotel close to the check-in date.”

“Stayed here to visit our son at Miami University (35 min drive to campus). The setting is beautiful and the yellow farmhouse sits back from the road and from the other rental property, so we had total privacy. Thoughtful set up outside with patio and fire pit. Walk to the river was a bonus. I love to bird watch, and tallied 30 species on day one. Metamora is a cute town nearby. Recommend The Blue Umbrella for breakfast. Lots of hiking around Brookville Lake. House very comfortable and well laid……

“Cabin was excellent! Rooms were clean, kitchen had everything that we needed for our group to make a great dinner. We did not use the hot tub although we did open it up to see if it worked (it did.) The fire pit is next to a creek that isn't audible from the cabin but was very relaxing to listen to fireside. Water pressure can be a bit low if multiple showers are in use but that should be expected.”

“Everything was great. The home was clean, the location was perfect for what we needed, the only downside was that the hot water heater stopped working partway through our stay. They did send someone out to fix it, which temporarily did fix the problem, but then it stopped working again. The property manager was very helpful and considerate in trying to get everything fixed. ”
