"Pros: The bed was very comfortable and the staff at the front desk were lovely. The gym equipment worked. Cons: The rugs and drapes were stained in my room which was kind of gross and the fact that the window didn't open was a problem because the room smelled badly and there was no way to air it out. It is basically sitting on top of the highway and there is nowhere to walk outside the building without getting in your car - it is right on an industrial/commercial intersection so it's not peaceful. The breakfast was pretty gross. Summary: I cancelled the last night b/c I didn't want to stay there, and I had great weather, so I left at 9 am and didn't come back until 10 PM the day I was there, which made it "fine." The bed was super comfortable so if you are coming to shower and sleep, it's a good deal. If you come and it's raining or you need to hang around the hotel at all, that might stink. "

"This was our second lovely stay at the cottage. Kelly is a great hostess and we felt welcome from the moment we arrived! The cottage is clean and cozy- the location is in walking (and biking) distance to all the places we love in Southport. We also enjoyed sitting in the garden area and listening to music from a nearby venue. All in all the perfect way to experience Southport!"

"We had a great 3-night stay at the Caswell Beach condo! The view is amazing - you can see both the pool and the beach from the balcony. Perfect for relaxing, reading a book, enjoying a drink, or whatever comes to mind! If the weather isn't cooperating, the living area has a large sectional couch and television that is super modern and comfy. The couch even has power outlets!The condo was clean and well-organized with everything we needed for our stay. Instructions for stay (locks, remotes, parking, etc.) were well-organized and complete. Additionally, Stuart and Brandon were great hosts who checked in via email/text to be sure we were settled in and that all was well.The condo was perfect for us, and we recommend it for anyone visiting the Oak Island and Caswell Beach area."

"The room and bathroom were very small, the toilet itself rocked so it was loose on the floor , the handle on the coffee machine kept coming off so you had to use 2 hands to close it , the staff was dismissive and rude. "
