“Stayed in a single budget room which was clean and comfortable. The staff and owner make you feel very welcome. Good breakfast and well stocked bar - nice pint of Guiness. No complaints and great value. Pay and display car park a stones throw at £3 for 24 hours. No food in the evenings but would recommend the Dolphin chippy down the hill. Made a pleasant change from the corporate hotel chains.”

“Lovely friendly staff. Room was spacious and clean. I only ate in the hotel the once during my stay, but the food and room service I had was very good.
The location is great - a short walk away from the excellent Broughton Inn and a whole load of other eating and drinking places.
Would definitely stay again.”
