Hosts were very hospitable, had homemade cookies and herbs from their garden for us. The cottage was clean, cozy and peaceful. They even went hung a birthday banner for me! Loved the horses, chickens and goats that they have. Will definitely be back!!!

We loved staying at this property. The hosts are great, friendly people and the guest house is exactly as listed and very clean! Seeing all the animals on the property was a really cool experience. It was a fun vacation for my husband, myself, our one year old, and our 2 dogs! I would highly recommend checking this place out.

Brittney & Jordan are wonderful hosts. This is our fourth stay at their guest house. Very homey and comfortable place to stay. Host provided all we needed to make breakfast for our stay. It is dog friendly and our dog liked checking out the goats, horses, and donkey. We love visiting Fredericksburg, and definitely will be back to stay at the Circle D guest house.

What a diamond in the rough. The Circle D is a great place to stay, especially if attending the Patriot Academy. The host are great people, very friendly. Also, it's not that far from town. The wildlife is abundant, saw turkey, deer, rabbits and etc. In short, you can go wrong staying here.

My husband and I stayed three nights at this property and had a wonderful time. It had everything we needed for a short stay and the owners were very sweet. They left us a couple days worth of breakfast, and even brought over cookies. We visited a few antique stores, but mostly just hung out at the property and relaxed. Nice and quiet with plenty of deer to watch from the porch.

Perfect getaway! Hosts were kind and respectful with such attention to detail. Great little place with a cozy bed and useful kitchen. We never left the property but it is a short drive to Fredericksburg. We will go back!

My husband and I LOVED our stay. We came for a short birthday getaway. The owners took the time to blow up some balloons and add some extra sweet things upon our arrival. This is the safest we have ever felt at a VRBO especially considering it not being directly in Fredericksburg. The owners were incredibly friendly and hospitable. They truly wanted us to relax and enjoy our stay. Lastly, THEY ARE PUP FRIENDLY! Our dog loved all the animals and getting to roam around a bit. We hope to come back here soon.

We thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent at the Circle D Guest House this last weekend. Jordan and Brittney are the best B&B hosts we have ever had. They think of your every potential need and provide it. The goodies left in the frig and in the kitchen were very much appreciated. The house is tastefully decorated. We enjoyed the back patio and the grill. The bed is very comfortable. Thank you so much!

Brittney and Jordan have done a fabulous job with this gem. I love seeing all of the free range wildlife. You will see anything from Turkeys, rabbits, Black Bucks, goats and many others. When you stay, make sure to check out Copper, their new calf. I cannot say how relaxing it is to stay here. I would like to stay a month and never leave the front or back porch. This place is ideal for a couple or individual. Again. Such a great place with the most friendly owners.

This is a hidden gem if you truly want to get away from the city. The cottage is well maintained, has a quaint country charm and well furnished for a small family. We took our 5 year-old and the hosts were wonderful in providing fresh home made cookies and crafts/crayons for our kid when we arrived. There is no internet and the cell-phone service is spotty, which was refreshing and allowed us to be truly disconnected. We spent our evening in the back-deck listening to all sorts of bird/animal sounds, and there are horses in a small enclosure which was entertaining for our 5-year old. We spent one night, and came back truly refreshed and well rested.

Jordan and Brittney, Thank you so much for your warm hospitality! From the warm home to the cookies waiting for us when we arrived! We so enjoyed the personal touches that were obviously thought of with love and care. Jordan, we enjoyed the short visit and getting to know a little bit about the sweet family providing us shelter for the night. Everything about our rental was outstanding. There was only one thing that was a drawback and it was my fault for not noticing. We are both in our 80s and with the bedroom upstairs and the only bathroom downstairs it made the night time trips a little inconvenient.

Just a 10 minute drive from downtown, but worlds away from the bustle. This beautifully and thoughtfully appointed country cottage has all you will need for a couples weekend. The owners provided some snacks, breakfast items and a wide array of k-cups for your morning coffee on the porch for wildlife watching. Tons of deer plus the farms own horses, goats and chickens provided the perfect soundtrack for our wine country weekend. The house was immaculately clean with all the little touches that added to the stay - from the simple travel dental kits to the lighted Christmas tree in the living room (on a timer no less, so completely hassle-free), everything was considered to make this a pleasant stay for us. And it was very pup friendly so a great place to travel with our dog as well. Would highly recommend and will plan to stay again in the future.
