Good location with a rough start

When we first got there, the code Vacasa provided did not work so we were unable to get into our room for almost an hour. In the end, Vacasa support was not able to help, they even suggested that we might be at the wrong address which was really frustrating. Thankfully there was a phone number near the front door for a local that works for vacasa and they were able to provide the correct code. Once inside we discovered that the toilet was not working, it was a quick fix but still annoying after just dealing with the door code situation. Overall the location was the best part about the place, but I'm still not sure it was worth the price they are asking.

Just right

This cottage was just right for our quick little weekend getaway. There was a slight hiccup with the door keypad, but a quick call to the 800 number and we were in! Plus, Ashley, the Vacasa host was very helpful and attentive. I think the breakfast (as noted in the rental details) were the muffins left in the room prior to our arrival, but no biggie- we weren't too hungry the next morning anyway. Very clean and properly stocked. The room sharing grounds with the Fiesta Winery 209 and Six Shooter Cellars is pretty cool, not to mention a four minute walk away from the Alstadt Brewery was also exciting. Definitely would stay here again!

Great location for winery hopping. Visited the LBJ Ranch and Pedernales Falls. Got to eat some great German food and beer.

Great area

The property is in a Great location and we loved the patio area ! Nice place to relax and unwind. On the downside,the floor was very dirty and the room next door had a small dog that barked fir the entire stay . We called and reported this on the first evening but it continued . Luckily, we were not there much except the evenings.

Anniversary trip

I rented this property at the last minute and it could not have been more perfect. It was close to wineries (including Fiesta Winery on the property) and the Alstadt brewery but far enough away from the bustle of Main Street.

The area is excellent for wineries. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. However the bathroom was awful. The toilet rocked, there was a big crack in the sink that was not very sanitary, and the shower door didn’t close so water splashed all over.

Charming but

Breakfast consisted of cold cereal half pints of milk, small cans of oj and two small muffins, The internet was so slow that we gave up on it. Never did figure out the TV. With all that said the room was charming. Large and comfortable bed, smallest refrigerator I ever saw and small microwave. The amenities included one very small soap, one hotel size shampoo and conditioner. There was no hair dryer and they asked us to wash the dishes. That had to be done in the small pedestal sink in the bath room. Loved the room, and the location but would not return.

Great ambiance and location

The bed was so tall I couldn’t even get on it. My husband had to help me. No lid on the toilet-sink

Very charming place along 290 wine route

Great little spot - Local to most all of the wineries on the 290 route. Charming room - very clean and nice décor. Only thing I would add at some point in the future is a fire pit and jacuzzi. Thanks for the great stay!
