“We had a great time. If you are bringing your 30 foot boat use the back gate. It will be a little challenging at the first time you park inside the property but it is doable.”

“We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The “treehouse” was beautiful, spotless, and so cozy. It was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable getaway.”

“The house was amazing and set up perfectly for a beach vacation.”

“We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again! The communication from the host was outstanding—easily some of the best we've experienced with any VRBO rental. They were responsive, proactive, and made everything from check-in to check-out seamless. The location was excellent, just a short walk to the beach, and the neighborhood pool was fantastic. “Great location, well equipped and clean. Thanks for a great experience. Pradeep”

“Rooms were clean. Kitchen fully stocked with pots and pans. Could have used more trash bags for a four day trip with five adults and 3 children. Kids enjoyed pool. We had a great time. Will use again.”

“Great hosts, great location, and such a cute place! ”

“The location of Sweaty Palms was fantastic! So close to the beach and some great restaurants. The bed was comfortable, the towels were plentiful and the kitchen was well stocked. We were disappointed in the cleanliness of the rental though, there were stains on the couch, a thick layer of dust on the bulbs above the medicine cabinet and worst of all there were cockroaches. Management apologized and promised someone would investigate. We are not sure if anyone ever came.”

“Excellent trip and a great location. Loved all the walking trails around the complex.”

“Everything was wonderful! ”

“This was a great location very quiet, clean and private as well as peaceful but a distance away from the main attractions over the bridge to Destin, so make sure to have 4 dollars cash to go either direction over through the tolls. The host Ms Nancy was very accommodating and communicated very well through the app’s direct messaging”

“The property is perfect and so close to the beach . Also have lake access as well . It’s close to all of the great restaurants and shopping . The property was very clean . It is directly across from the pool which was nice . The parking is tight but it was no problem . We were able to get early check in and the host was amazing . Everything was smooth with check in and out. We will definitely book again soon for our next trip .”

“Nice place, close to a few public beaches. Host was quick to respond.”

“Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Made in the Shade is just that, shady yard and home with great old decor that shows cozy and classic beach house vibes. My kiddos and I loved the layout and front screened porch, also how they biked everywhere to hang out with friends that happened……
