「A historic building in a central position in Frome, clearly an old coaching inn or similar. The bedrooms sit within a maze of staircases and corridors. Some stairs are best suited to young mountain goats. My room was on the top floor, up a narrow, steep stair with a tricky turn. My stick and I managed it, just, and staff brought up and took down my case. 「A nice stay. A lovely pub right in the middle of Frome. We stayed here to go to an event at the Cheese and Grain which was perfect. Just be aware that as the rooms are part of an active pub you may get some noise on busier nights」

「Everything about the Hotel was excellent. Lovely, friendly, very helpful staff, compty bed and room, clean and with coffee/tea/biscuits provided. Breakfast was first class, trout with poached eggs were perfect, Trish went above and beyond to help us with my disabled husband, she even collected our cases from our room and a staff member took and loaded them into our car. Would certainly stay here again.」

「The overall aesthetic was awesome but the rooms need proper cleaning cobwebs are visible in the roof The cleanliness is something to be looked into Overall I liked the place and room」

「A wonderful place to stay. A fantastic old building with so much character and lovely country views. Bedrooms very comfortable with great attention to detail and well thought through. Excellent breakfast and a good menu for dinner - well presented and very tasty. The highlight though were the staff throughout. It's such a pleasure to receive genuine excellent customer service from start to finish. Thank you.」

「Beautiful room with all that I needed for my overnight stay. I dined in the restaurant, and had breakfast, and the food was excellent. I would highly recommend the Belland Crown.」
