"We had the best time at Sunset Lagoon! Carole and Dale were such great hosts and ensured our stay was enjoyable. There happened to be an issue with the ferry the day we were going and they called right away. The problem ended up getting fixed and we made it to the island! Definitely a much needed respite. My family and I plan to go back this summer. My kids absolutely loved clamming on the private beach!"

"The house itself was great for everyone for the most part. Outside wasn’t as easy for the pets as they had to remain leashed. Otherwise, amazing property, views, sleeping areas, etc. Only had two human criticisms-1. No regular tv available, dvds were solid, but most of the vhs tapes we tried had issues. 2. The sectional was great for laying down on, but not that comfy to just sit. These are super minor things, we loved the house and the island!"

"This was the perfect place for our annual family gathering - right on the water with enough different spaces for kids and adults to gather and enjoy each others' company in small groups or all together. Loved watching the ferry as well as looking for the seal that visited regularly."

"What a train wreck. This host destroyed our family trip. Took out money and then never responded. Disconnected his phone, padlock on gate to property. With the festival, there was no other properties available."

"Amazing, something for everyone in our family (4 adults, 4 teens, and a preteen) Magical sunsets, amazing wildlife experiences. Unexpected yet amazing mattress in a pull out couch, that has an air mattress topper for amazing comfort and the best view. Came during the Summer, but want to come back for storm season in the Winter now"
