Excellent break between the city tour of Japan. We stopped on the way from Tokyo to Kyoto for a relaxing weekend and it was everything and more than expected. Wonderful in room onsen with opening windows in the bathroom made the room even better. I would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at Konansou was absolutely incredible and one of the highlights of our trip to Japan! The accommodations were beautiful, the traditional Japanese baths were fantastic, and the views of Mt. Fuji were breathtaking. The food was truly next level. Every course was beautifully presented, creative, and delicious. It was honestly one of the most exciting and memorable dining experiences I've ever had! What really made the stay exceptional was the staff. Everyone was incredibly attentive, welcoming, and helpful in every way. The hospitality was outstanding. Konansou exceeded our expectations in every respect. An unforgettable experience that I cannot recommend highly enough. Worth every penny!

For us this felt like a real traditional experience of a ryokan room style of an accommodation. The room with lake view was beautiful and being welcomed into it by a host was quite an experience, our host was wonderful. the hotel is not facing mt Fuji BUT it has roof top foot spa (!!!) with a fantastic view which is wonderful. The dinner in our room was an amazing experience also, a nice surprise. Important to note the space overall is not new or modern, feels a little tired and the hotel could do more to explain how the experience works. Take your guests on a journey.

I had a great experience, after Tokyo to revitalize and ready for the next city on my adventure. In the Summertime of the two night stay, my second night provided good views of Mt Fuji and Lake from the hotel rooftop viewing area. The Spa facilities were great, and my massage was awesome. The Onsen dinner was good, and breakfast had many choices, and was good quality overall. I could recommend Konansou to friends.

My husband and I had such an amazing stay! We were in the Kohaku room with a semi-open air ones and traditional Japanese bedroom. Miki-san was our hostess for the evening and she was so kind and welcoming. The keiseki dinner is a must have! The breakfast buffet was amazing as well. We wish we would have stayed an extra night.
