“Just know that rooms are cleaned with mew towels at 9ish. If your "in room" sign is still on the door when they walk by, then your out of luck. You can get clean towels at the ftont drsk though.

“We recently stayed at The Inn at Houndslake during our trip to Aiken for Nationals, and overall, it was a wonderful experience. While Expedia was incorrect about the property having an on-site bar and restaurant—this is actually part of a country club—we were still very happy with our stay.
The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Every person we interacted with was friendly and helpful. They even provided a few items we had forgotten at home, which made a big difference.

“The front desk did not inform us about other amenities such as free breakfast or Wi-Fi until asked for. Upon arriving in our room, we were greeted by a roach. After complaining and switching rooms, there was no roach, but the fridge was stained with food stains and looked like it wasn’t cleaned for a while. The bedside USB charger was completely smashed and unusable. The bathroom/closet door doesn’t close all the way. ”
